Didn't know about any printed forms for Berserk. I'm just currently reading it on Mangadex. I was referring to the manga. Oh right haha. Well that's true given how the 1997 adaptation was decent but not even close to the manga and the new 2016 adaptation is awful. The manga is the best option.

Ill check out the pilot. Were you happy with the film? Should at least be unique considering the involvement of the Wachowskis You ever check out the animes based on Marvel comics properties, like the "X-Men" or "Ironman" animes? I have actually. I checked out an ep or two re iron man and Wolvy. Technically Rise of Technovore is anime right?

@shadowbiz, this is a blooper the original dub team for "Neon Genesis Evangelion" recorded after the trippy ending of the 1995 series. That's actually Shinji's voice actor, Spike Spencer, adlibbing.

Love that guy. Loosk interesting, but I'll have to put it on the back-burner for now. I'm going through "Shiki" and then "Higurashi" right now.

I have watched a reasonably staggering amount of anime at this point. Mostly sword, martial art, gun, or mech, but the list would take days. Does anybody have any specifically they'd like to vouch for, discuss, or have questions about? Personal favorites include, but are not limited to, Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X), Trigun, Yuyu Hakusho, Dragon Ball (GT being a slight exception), One Piece, Naruto, Inuyasha, G Gundam, Shura no Toki, and many more. Would love to discuss some if anyone feels so inclined.

My favourites: steins;gate, cowboy bebop, eva, rising of the shield hero, re zero, black clover, mob psycho, my hero academia, paprika, perfect blue, macross-one of the films, magica madoka (yes it's a magical girl series (i should be shot) but a deconstruction and a bit dark so I was curious when glass reflections mentioned it Here and there with other ones. Watched some of db on the whole but not much at all

Watched some of db on the whole but not much at all Nice Bebop is among my favorites, as well. Outlaw Star was another comparable concept series. The concept of Sword Art Online may be my favorite. Anything I've seen in the Fate/Stay series has been well done. There was also a series called Magi with a few entries that were a fun take on Sinbad and some others. I've heard good things about My Hero Academia, but have yet to catch an episode. Apologies for the double tap if there's a pre-existing thread about. I searched several pages and never spotted it. Perhaps the phone settings aren't giving me the optimal experience for searching.

Im glad someone made another thread-the other ones didnt have that much in it-not as a big audience as marvel in here etc. I meant to sound excited lol but thats posts for you. Ive seen some of Outlaw Star and it is, quite right. Fate I need to get back to, paused as I started at the wrong point and felt like I missed something and there was a reason for that haha The search function isnt that great on proboard forums. I rate it 5/10

Wow I haven't posted here in months. I have been watching a decent amount of anime and reading manga for this time so I have several suggestions. First of all Cowboy Bebop is definitely one of the best anime I've seen. I'm not too big on DB or DBZ because while it may be a classic but it feels like a very vanilla anime and is not as good as any more recent anime. I'd recommend The Promised Neverland, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Both Anime and Manga), Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul: Re (Manga; the anime sucks besides Season 1), Death Note, Fist of the North Star and Berserk(Manga). Nice, I forgot to include Death Note. Along similar lines, Code Geass was a pretty fun mental anime in a lot of ways, though it did include mech warfare.

I haven't really been watching a lot of anime in the last month. Mostly focusing on doing a full Disney Animated Canon rewatch to help hype Haunted Knight's Disney Survival Game on Knowhere.

I’m not the most experienced anime person but there were some I genuinely loved. Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, G Gundam, Inuyasha, Basilisk, and Full Metal Alchemist (original)

Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, G Gundam, Inuyasha, Basilisk, and Full Metal Alchemist (original) Basilisk was pretty intense. FMA was great. I was amazed that Brotherhood was made as it was, but it really is great once you cope with the slight changes. I hate to say it, but it may be my preference. Not that I would kick FMA out of bed for eating crackers.

Not that I would kick FMA out of bed for eating crackers. I'm the polar opposite when it comes to FMA, except maybe more intense. I can't stand "Brotherhood" despite being a fan of the original manga. It's just too typically Shonen, where as I found the original FMA to be delightful subversion to a lot of the usual tropes.

Well I may as well try to revive this thread.
Currently finished Hunter x Hunter which was an overall excellent Shonen. My favorite arcs being Chimera Ant and York New City. Also started FMAB and enjoying it despite the comic relief being somewhat jarring.
Decided to watch Naruto again. The older arcs are definitely better than most of Shippuden with the exception of the Pain arc. I still consider War arc to be the downfall of the series.
Almost caught up with the Berserk manga and recently decided to start reading the One Piece manga. So far really enjoying One piece.
Also Attack on Titan Season 4 episode 1 was pretty good. This will definitely be the best season based on what I've heard from manga readers.

I stopped pretty much immediately after they finished the island/video game arc. Shout out to Killua-great character Atm Im only watching Black Clover. Will probs get back into My Hero Academia soon enough. Attack on Titan, I need to return to too

Code Geass is decent enough but waaay over-rated Yes! Thank you! I was expecting a lot more from season 2 as people were saying just wait till then-and yeah it was better for code geass but nothing earth-shattering lol. The hype is way too strong for this show. Isnt it considered to be game of thrones level among anime series?

Isnt it considered to be game of thrones level among anime series? There's a season 3? Granted, I quit paying any kind of attention to Geass after it originally ended, so this is surprising. Let me guess, they some-freaking-how resurrect Ledouche.
