The opinion on Civil War is quite split here. Form teams! Take sides! We'll meet at the airport tonight to battle this thing out!

Yeah I didnt like Zemo either. Hopefully the show can rectify my dislike for him. Ive read the civil war comic and I was a bit disappointed in the film. The stakes it presented werent as gripping for me personally The comic was godawful. It was the beginning of everything I've come to hate about Marvel's comics, so yeah, I lay the blame for all the crap that's happened since then on it. It's so bad I was convinced they could never make a good movie out of it, and I was pleasantly surprised when the film was brilliant. Being as different as possible from the comic Civil War storyline is the single best decision the MCU ever made. Youre just ashamed of the comics

Ant Man and the Wasp Woman
Let's start with the good: the climax is entertaining and well edited, the tiny cars are fun, the journey to the Quantum Realm is a nice homage to old sci fi movies, Wasp Woman is badass and Giant Man is always a blast.
But honestly, this is not a good movie. Scott has no stake in the plot other than "I gotta get home!" because really this is Hank's story. Scott has no personal investment whatsoever in saving Janet. At least in the first movie he went from ex-con to hero. But here- nothing. No reversal at all. And the plot is appaulingly lazy and stupid: Hank needs Scott because Janet put a message in his head? What?! Janet can actually control Scott's mind and body from the Quantum Realm? Huh?! Ghost needs to extract Janet's energy to heal herself?! Why?! Janet lived and aged in the Quantum Realm for 30 years?! How?! Janet can miraculously heal Ghost because the movie needs a happy ending?! I give up.
I really want to love this series but this movie killed it for me. At least the third movie has a new screenwriter. Perhaps that'll help.

No. Nitpicks are tiny problems. I'm talking about the movie's actual plot. This is a complete failure to even produce a plot that has any logic to it at all.

How did Janet heal Ghost? Don't know. Not a scientist, but I don't expect hard science from a superhero movie, anyway. I just enjoyed the ride. I look forward to Peyton Reed finished his masterpiece.

How did Janet heal Ghost? "Spider-Man 2" has a lot of questionable science, too. If someone actually created a miniature sun in the middle of New York City, there would be no more New York City, and you can't douse a miniature sun in water. Just saying.

I haven’t seen any Ant-Mans, but I have no idea how possible problems in Spider-Man 2 have any relevance to possible problems in Ant-Man 2.

I think people give Raimi's Spider-Man films a pass for things they complain about in the MCU, however subconsciously. I will admit it makes me angrier than it really should, so I'll drop the matter now. I'm sorry, @raimiackbar.

It would if you added a 10% vinegar solution. Or if you added something acidic like urine. Doc Ock could've peed in the water first. You don't know!

Nope the science is explained. It isn't a mini sun, it's a fusion reaction thats gone out of control and is self-propogating. Flooding it in water means it cannot grow and once there's no fusion elements to use the water douses the excess heat.

They tried to explain it, but what they did in the film actually isn't possible and doesn't work that way.
