What's a discless steel book? A Steelbook DVD/Blue-Ray case without a disk. Do they expect anyone to buy it?

A Steelbook DVD/Blue-Ray case without a disk. Do they expect anyone to buy it? I'm sure some dumbass wanda fans will waste their money on it.

What's a discless steel book? You've never had a bananaless peel? It's quite chic.

Perhaps it's just a personal preference, but I can't see myself purchasing anything from a website with the URL collectong.com.
Digging a little deeper into the entity behind this website and the diskless WandaVision steel books, it turns out to be Manta Labs. Manta Labs obtained its Consumer Product License from the Hong Kong arm of Disney around July last year. The license was granted exclusively for the creation of Marvel Studios Steel Books.
That said, assuming their license is in good standing, this brainless travesty qualifies as an official release of the Disney Corporation.
The backlash and confusion from the Blu-ray collector community have been significant. Many are under the impression that Marvel Studios and Disney originated this idea, but they did not - they just didn't say no.
I think someone will be out of a job in licensing at Disney HK before the day is through.

And, once again, The Direct turns out to be unapologetic shills for a worthless product.
I'm guessing Manta Labs invested a ton of money and resources making and producing these Steel Book cases under the assumption that they'd have discs to put in them by now…

Nice. This move will silence a large segment of Disney+ detractors. Smart move.

Unfortunately, this comes too late to be of benefit to me since it's after Disney already announced their discontinuation of DVDs/Blu-rays being released here in Australia. I don't do any online shopping, as I don't trust it. About the only thing I could possibly try is if someone I trusted were able to purchase a copy and mail it to me and I'd send them the payment for it. I'm just not well-versed in finding reliable places online to purchase DVDs/Blu-rays. I had to get a person I know to order a remote control for my TV/DVD/Blu-ray player that stopped working properly because I had no idea where to go online to find one, what sites were trustworthy, etc. I'm very paranoid about that sort of thing. Then, of course, there's the matter of whether the DVDs/Blu-rays of the D+ shows I got someone to order for me would even *work* on our players here or not. Nice. This move will silence a large segment of Disney+ detractors. Smart move. Yes, because those who weren't able to get Disney+ but still wanted to be able to see the MCU shows deserved to be 'silenced' simply for wanting what others had. D+ basically held all those shows to ransom, saying "Pay us if you want to see them!" and stubbornly refused to release them on DVD/Blu-ray for AGES. Now they finally change their minds about it...and it's too late for me since Disney recently said they won't be releasing *anything* on DVD/Blu-ray in my country anymore. But I should totally be 'silenced' in voicing my discontent.

Disney is bound to walk back this reprehensible policy of no physical media in Australia. It makes absolutely no sense… especially if there is genuine demand.
