Kilgrave was above and beyond worse. He mind raped Jessica. He forced people to do stuff because he was sick and sadistic. Wanda lashed out in grief not malice.

Killgrave. Like Wanda said to Agatha, at least she took over Westview by accident and then gave up her control over the town. Killgrave just plunged in, knowingly and willfully. It was by accident but then she knew something was wrong and still kept it going right?

In his defense, although cant remember the specifics now as it has been a while, he couldnt tell after some time but yeah he intentionally, initially controlled her mind for his own satisfaction I feel it was a bad explanation in the show. He didnt know the difference between right and wrong??

He didnt know the difference between right and wrong?? He had issues with his parents. He was abused, though they claim their treatment had to do with finding a cure. I think. I think he knows the difference. It's more that he lacks remorse. It's why he's worse than Wanda as a person. He floats through life using people. You could yell at Wanda because she might care. Killgrave not as much. He'd be much worse than Wanda with her powers if they swapped. Probably.

It's kind of funny how all of the citizens of Westview had this urgency to get back to their real lives whenever they were temporarily freed from Wanda's influence. In the finale, when they're all released, they suddenly have nothing to do but stand around in a circle giving Wanda the stink-eye. What happened to their children and other loved ones that urgently needed them?
I thought that was... funny.

Kilgrave. Wanda took control of Westview instinctually. There was no malice in the act. This is why she is not a villain.

She will be considered a villain by the people around her, though, and she probably not on any intentional quest to save the world like a typical hero would be... She is more personally motivated by the loss of her husband and children.

Funny. Just about to post this lol. A friend shared it. Very interesting that's for sure. Is this reliable? It kind of makes sense though. Then again they did manage to do the effects of both Visions, Wanda and Agatha etc??

She is more personally motivated by the loss of her husband and children. I think she's in that territory somewhere near Ant-Man or Quill. They've got the skills but they're heroes of circumstance. Compared to someone like Captain America who never saw a terrible situation he didn't run towards. Being surrounded (I think) was the show's way of hammering home that they see her as a witch.

Having read the comics, Bucky's big thing was ultimately overcoming the terrible things that happened to him, and redeeming himself. Showing himself to be a genuine hero and the rightful heir to Captain America. I agree that his current role has probably been fully explored, but that redemption is his legacy. Since they have this series featuring these two, I'd be a little surprised if they don't at least take a giant step towards that, if not get there completely. It's a very natural arc for that character. No guarantees, but if that's not where this is headed, then I'm not sure where they're headed at all. His redemption arc will certainly continue in this series. What about after this series though? I can see Sam continuing to show up in his role as Cap as he carries the mantle. But I don’t see Bucky just hanging around without feeling pointless Bucky is a comic book character with quite a few stories to his name since his reintroduction. Believe me, there is no shortage of stuff for the MCU to give him.

It's a shame that there are "fans" who need stuff explained to them by the writers.
