Yeah, I gave up on Hot Toys stuff years ago, and even then, I only bought Stormtrooper variants which were generally below $200. I got an Iron Man Mk I as a gift recently (still hasn't shipped). That felt like the right place to stop once and for all. Their stuff is incredible but it's also super expensive. Luckily, I don't have any space to store or display anything nonessential. The Dead Strange figure does look pretty damn good, though. I wouldn't blame you if you got it. The Iron Man Mk 1 does look pretty sweet. Out of all of them I was most tempted to get a Cap (probably would’ve gone with the First Avenger version), but I feel like once I went down that road I wouldn’t be able to stop until I “assembled” the whole roster and depleted my checking account in the process. yeah, I'm a budgeting nerd and I know I easily spent about $1200 on their stuff, give or take, over two or three years. It adds up fast.

Great movie. 8/10
I think for me the only real criticisms were that Wanda went full villain right at the start of the film, pacing was quite fast and the cgi at certain points wasnt that great. Nevertheless a very entertaining film. Oh yeah, the Raiminess did wash over me @ghostyghostington lol. I wouldnt mind seeing another Raimi mcu film. He definitely still has it. The parallel between Doc Ock and Wanda cant be ignored
Reed and Clea were the things that were spoiled for me. Holy fuck Wanda was powerful in this! Those body drops...Professor X-so so cool. Still no Namor eh?
I feel this movie couldve easily been 30min longer. I was totally engrossed the whole time
So the person in jeans turned out to be Wanda lol. Here I was thinking it was Logan or Cap..
America did a pretty good job character and actress-wise
I guess some of those dimensions may lead to other specific things re Marvel. Maybe just easter eggs
It was awesome seeing Krasinski as Reed and Theron as Clea
Didnt see that coming the fact that Wanda was the one who sent Ackbar after the girl
Again, outstanding film. I think I may like this more than Spider-Man No Way Home. Maybe. Norman is pretty hard to beat

It's now the 11th highest grossing MCU film of all time.

MoM suffers from two somewhat ironic shortcomings.
It didn't make a billion dollars, and it likely won't with the June 22 Disney+ debut closing in fast. For any other franchise this would be an uncontested hit, but the MCU is frequently held to a higher standard.
Also, it's not No Way Home.
For all the praise Raimi has received for his work on MoM, his variant from eighteen years ago has managed to steal his present-day thunder. John Watts and Sony will forever reap the credit for a Spider-Man outing that owes its very existence to Sam Raimi. Consider this, by the laws of the multiverse, in another universe Watts directed MoM and Raimi Directed what is essentially Spider-Man 3/4. Ask yourself - and answer honestly - which universe would you rather live in?
Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness currently sits at $909,411,116.
"Oh, devilish tantalizations of the Gods!"

Apparently in the early stages of development, Nightmare was considered for the main villain.

Hopefully the final film in the trilogy, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of More Money for Marvel, can deliver the goods we were robbed of this time around. And I thought my review was harsh! Seriously, good point about how unmaddening this multiverse was, though I wouldn’t have minded that (after all, Raimi does provide zombies, possessions, and Looney Tunes) if the movie were less of a CGI gallimaufry and were better written.

It gave me such hope for the rest of it, too… It’s one of my favorite sequences in the entire MCU! So many fantastic camera angles and perspectives. And the creature is so wonderfully expressive and full of character. Plus, as I learned in the commentary, the whole thing is shot on an actual set of New York built just for this movie. (Some CGI is added of course, but it’s still very cool to hear real sets are still built!)

One of my favourite sequences in the movie would have to be the chase sequence with Wanda chasing after Doctor Strange, Christine and America in the tunnel. Classic zombie fare there.

I also love the “she’s coming”, followed by a screen wipe and an electric guitar riff over Witchy Woman doing witchy witch things. So Raimi.
