My biggest question however is,,, in what reality did Wanda actually have kids? Were they also her magical creation? My assumption is that some alternate Wandas have legitimate, real children. They seemed to use the same alternate Wanda from the 838 universe but I think it was implied that there were more worlds where her doppleganger has children, it was just this one that she focused on. My cousin brought up an interesting question of, is there a world out there where these children have no mother? Like she dies in childbirth or maybe combat being a hero and they are not being raised by their Uncle Pietro or Grandaddy Erik? Essentially maybe theres a world out there with our broken Wanda can find closure and happiness without forcing it upon others.

Wanda had to carefully select the universe from which she would steal her children. It must have taken a lot of research. She couldn't steal them from a universe where Vision was still in the picture. I don't think she was so far gone that she would have killed him… again. She couldn't risk reuniting with another Vision because he'd likely never condone the theft. She couldn't take her children from a Wanda who'd encountered the Darkhold or became a Scarlett Witch - too much competition. I feel like she spent a lot of time between WandaVision and MoM peering into other universes for the perfect opportunity. While doing so, she found America and realized that her skillset, for lack of a better term, would help her traverse the multiverse. It lines up nicely for me.

So to Mervs query then, there isn’t a reality with entirely orphaned kids. Or at least, that’s not what Wanda wanted. She wanted to inhabit the ones with the built in home life she wanted. The WandaVision “ideal”. Albeit, oddly without Vision. I wondered, given that the kids weren’t real, if she was really just plugging back into a near identical version of the show we already watched. Where they still weren’t real kids and she was merely trying to relive the same fantasy. Maybe this, was more or less a lost episode of WandaVision itself. Curious thought.

There may have been a universe where Wanda naturally gave birth to the children. The multiverse is infinite and represents infinite possibilities. Vision could have been human in this universe, and she could have had the children with him conventionally. He could have died after fathering his children. The children don't appear to have any abilities, and other Wanda doesn't seem to have set up her own Westview. This Wanda likely never suffered a psychotic break over being Widowed because she had natural-born children to live for - she didn't have to conjure them. Just a theory, but I think it has merit.

It’s nice to see everyone here enjoyed the Raiminess. I tried to tell you all years ago to embrace it. Raiminess truly conquers all. I actually saw it again today and really enjoyed it. It gets better and better on rewatches. Definitely my favorite of phase four.

Is the tweet saying Elizabeth Olsen as this character is unattractive to straight men? Because I’m a straight man and find her extremely attractive.

Well now Im questioning both my sexuality and gender. I’m just baffled by it. Is the tweet saying Elizabeth Olsen as this character is unattractive to straight men? Because I’m a straight man and find her extremely attractive. This phenomenon happens in music with some frequency. A heterosexual performer will suddenly and inexplicably become a LGBTQ+ icon. Think Madonna, Donna Summer, Barbra Streisand, ABBA, etc. The gay community may be trying to co-opt the Scarlet Witch as their own superhero icon. At the risk of stereotyping, I'm going to hazard a guess that it likely has something to do with her newly adopted tiara and her use of flamboyant dramatic hand gestures when casting spells. It may also have something to do with her propensity for drama and emotionality over logic and brute force. Women are likely cited in the meme due to the long standing, impenetrable alliance between themselves and gay men (some notable exceptions notwithstanding, of course).

This is somehow no longer true in the comic books I'm told. They aren't even mutants anymore. Retcons… sigh…

It depends on what you mean by real. Wanda in WandaVision doesn’t have the power to create matter whole-cloth from whatever energy source the magical-inclined all draw upon, so she can’t keep her children in solid form. I think she never used an unwilling human for them like she did with Pietro. They came from her own body, so in other Verses, the Wanda counterpart could clone or doppelgänger two children in her womb using her own DNA.

We had the reverse idea that since dreams are peaks into alternate realities, that her kids in WandaVision are recreations of the kids we see in MOM, which she had already seen in her dreams.

Was I the only one who wondered how the kids seemed to have not aged since the show? Did they film their parts during the show???

Yea for a time...but as comics do I suppose their history has been changed. In the Ultimate universe they were an incestuous couple but somehow I don't think Disney will show us that version.

So they either de aged them, which it didn’t look like, or they had the foresight to film those parts during WandaVision, which isn’t out of the question.

I’ll have to wait on the Disney streaming to check this out. Which reminds me, Lord Death Man, Merv, Grandmaster taylorfirst1 , we could do a follow-up review of MoM once it’s available.

Question;
Was our Wanda visiting different alt Wandas, or was it the same alt Wanda she saw each time? I tended to think it was the same one but Max thought differently. And he additionally noticed she was not in possession of a wedding ring. Hummmmm

And he additionally noticed she was not in possession of a wedding ring. Hummmmm I got the impression our Wanda had visited multiple Wandas, but settled on a particular Wanda, the one that she possesses 1 a few times throughout the film. You can see at the end confrontation that the nice Wanda has cuts and bruises alluding to that Wanda being the same one Wanda took over earlier. 1. Worth noting...the word "possesses" is a really weird one to spell. I double and triple checked it but it still looks funny.

That Dead Strange sequence is easily one of the coolest scenes we got in the MCU.
Raimi absolutely delivered with that!

Yeah, this is a "collectables" mic drop. If my office wasn't already overflowing with nerd shit… I’ve been resisting dropping 300$ on one of these HotToys figures for years. This might be the one that I finally give into… Yeah, I gave up on Hot Toys stuff years ago, and even then, I only bought Stormtrooper variants which were generally below $200. I got an Iron Man Mk I as a gift recently (still hasn't shipped). That felt like the right place to stop once and for all. Their stuff is incredible but it's also super expensive. Luckily, I don't have any space to store or display anything nonessential. The Dead Strange figure does look pretty damn good, though. I wouldn't blame you if you got it.

The Iron Man Mk 1 does look pretty sweet. Out of all of them I was most tempted to get a Cap (probably would’ve gone with the First Avenger version), but I feel like once I went down that road I wouldn’t be able to stop until I “assembled” the whole roster and depleted my checking account in the process.
