Shirt is 90 euro If you want the official badges its more. Thats excluding shipping YIKES! Lol. The badges are for the league and a sponsor. Without the badges it will stillbe the official shirt with the Club logo, Adidas logo and stripes and the sponsor name. Basically when I used to buy them thats how I bought them.

The goalie Nick Marsman was a goalie for Feyenoord the last few seasons. Surely he will notice.

Since you have more euro football experience than I, I have a curiosity. Who is a backup goalkeeper for a major team? Meaning, could a backup goalkeeper for a perennial Champions League team start for another big five league top flight club, or even a second division club? Are the top flight clubs paying enough to have second division starters as backups? Or are the backups more 3rd division quality?

Most topclubs have a second goalie who can start for a top 5 division club. But usually the drop off between first and second is quite significant. Thats true for every club. Dont get me wrong. Second goalies usually are at 90% of the first. Its the shots that they get to which are impossible to get to that makes them first goalkeeper.

So like Chelsea’s backup could start for Norwich no problem?

Another American question. How much do European clubs value domestic tournaments like the FA Cup? Obviously they’d prefer to win the league title right? So is full effort out into the FA Cup? Or is it just as valuable? How does that work?

But in The Netherlands its considered a lesser prize by some.

Our player with no. 10 Orkun Kokcu is quickly developing in to one of the best players in the Dutch League. He was already very good in the defensive part and building part of his midfield game but he has been scoring and assisting left and right since the new year came. he is already a Turkish International but he is getting too good for us. I expect him to leave for a bigger club this summer.

The next game is at home against Cambuur. A game we should be winning CRAZY. These guys have some guns on them for long range. Absolute rockets. What’s wild is they had several outstanding moves to get near the 6 box for shots and somehow didn’t finish. Maybe it was just a great save, but the work later in the game to get between 2 defenders and then past a 3rd was spectacular. Annnnnd of course the goal they gave up was a major defensive mistake. Shouldn’t have given the ball away but I will give them credit for a composed finish. Fun watch my friend

Trauner misjudged the flight of the ball because of that. Of course he got passed too easily after that but it started with the wind. And yeah... there was some fine shooting going on last sunday.

Just took a gander at the standings. I want them to catch PSV bad and they’re only 1 point out with plenty left to play. Not sure they can catch Ajax though. That would seem optimistic.

Ajax is too good for the rest of the league. That would take a miracle. This weekend its Az vs Feyenoord. Important game.

I think it’s interesting how the Netherlands skips an Europa League birth. I know the Champions League group phase and qualifying round births both could feed to Europa League, but I thought it was interesting that third place just skips to the conference league. BTW, I just watched Celtic VS Rangers yesterday. Never watched Scottish Premiereship, and wow, that crowd was jacked!

But that goes to the winner of the national cup. However this year Ajax and PSV will play the final. If they remain the top 2 for this season that ticket will go to the number three in the league. Number 4 will play Conference League and number 5-8 will have a play off for the final ticket. Actually Dutch football is on the rise. We are catching the Portuguese League and it may very well be that in season 24/25 we will have three Champions League tickets.
