I’m with you two. A Vader series could’ve been dope. Too risky. Not sure if they would do him justice. Vader has been used very well so far in the star wars universe, including "Disneyverse" Would like to have seen Lucas' underworld show or whatever it was called

I think they're considering one. The idea is certainly picking up steam online. James Earl still does the voice, right? I wonder if he’d be up for a whole series. He must be in his 80s. Well, he's applied himself well in the Obi-Wan series despite his age. I think a mini-series intended to run one short season probably wouldn't be too much of a strain.

Just sit back and read that Vader dialogue over the phone from the toilet then wait for the checks to roll in!

He's 91 but I'm sure if they recast his voice some fans would freak out and completely reject the show out of hand.

I'd imagine that a Darth Vader series would explore more of Anakin relationship with the Jedi through flashbacks.

Too good to pass up though lol I understand. To be fair though, it would actually be completely understandable if fans didn’t want the role recast. Even if you disagree it seems to me an easy stance to have some respect for.

I'd imagine that a Darth Vader series would explore more of Anakin relationship with the Jedi through flashbacks. The hunting jedis is a pretty good idea. I think they even did that or partially in a modern Vader comic. It was really good Again, not sure they would do it justice. He's one of the biggest villains if not the biggest in popular culture-lets keep him there

Like Biz said a Vader series wouldnt work. He is maybe the most famous movie villain in pop culture. Having a series about him would be weird. He is a villain and therfor must loose. To make Vader the main character of a show in which he must loose would take away from his awesomeness
Hard pass. Really hard. Like a 16 year old boy in the morning.

This time Ill play along with cannon fodder lol: Reva will battle Obi Wan: I will hold. It can even go further and that we might get a lightsaber battle royale with all the inquisitors, Vader and Obi-Wan. I think maybe Reva will fight with Obi against Vader. He already tried to ally with her Reva will somehow make Vader drop the hunt for Obi Wan: Sell. Although Vader would have to stop looking if he thinks Obi-Wan is dead. Hard to say. I mean with the original trilogy was it ever said that Vader was still looking for Obi-Wan? Maybe he still was but never found him or it became less of a priority after some years have passed. Reva will go to Tatooine to kill Luke out of vengeance for Anakin: Sell. I dont think Reva would go so far to kill a child just to get back at Anakin. Edit: Oh children and Tatooine were mentioned in the recording of Bail. Went back to it as I couldnt remember exactly either haha

Well I’ve seen some of it now.. So I get to have an opinion! I know. I know. But you’re getting it anyway! To be objective I will start with the good. There were nostalgic moments that got me. Uncle Owen. That Jawa. It’s fan pandering. I know that. But you put a god damn Jawa up on my screen and I’m smiling. I just am. I’m thinking “Mickey Mouse, you clever son of a bitch. You know how to work em.” But I’m still smiling at that Jawa. Can’t deny it. The bad: it’s just a very MEH show. I’m sorry. It is. I won’t call it cliched because Star Wars is allowed to embrace classic tropes. And I don’t think Obi Doobie Doo as the wounded retired hero is a bad concept. But holy space Jesus is this the most tired lifeless by the numbers version of that trope I’ve seen in a while. That Jawa though. Give me a Jawa show, Disney. I need that shit.

I don’t wanna be a killjoy or anything. And I probably won’t continue it… unless there’s more Jawas? I’m all about them Jawas, yo.

A Youngling in a what now? {Spoiler} At one point, Obi-Wan has to sneak through the Inquisitor base where he discovers a room full of captured Force users who have been incased and preserved in an amber-like substance, including a Jedi Youngling. He's even still wearing his training helmet. The whole sequence is actually pretty nightmarish, but it's easy to make jokes about the Empire "collecting the whole set".

Sounds like the last season of Dexter! You're not wrong. The first episode reminded me of every season premiere of 24, where Jack Bauer would be in hiding, defeated and sad, before a bunch of middle eastern villains showed up and threatened freedom. (Man, that show is dated now)

I spent a buttload getting the Japanese blu rays last year (it’s the only version of them in the world).

Japan is Region A though for some reason- same as the US, so they play on our players.

Japan is Region A though for some reason- same as the US, so they play on our players. Well, I know our movies were big over there for a long time, and the Japanese used to be the main Asian market Hollywood aimed to please. Then at some point, their interests shifted away from us and that's when trying to appease China came into the picture. But that last point is neither here nor there. The large consumption of American entertainment products in the past might account for why both nations are Region A.
