It was a fine episode. Seeing the immediate consequences of the heist in a lot of different areas. I still don't know what we're doing with Syril. Three separate scenes all devoted to this guy and we're just watching him get an office job.

Maybe he'll somehow get in the good graces with the Empire's police organization?

Am I the only one that thinks that this week's episode was again excellent?

Am I the only one that thinks that this week's episode was again excellent? No, I thought it was intense and well written as usual. Love the way Luna partially sleep walks through the entire ordeal as if it couldn't or shouldn't be happening to him. Maybe not as strong as some previous episodes, but that is only because Grace Randolph spoiled the appearance of a particular guest star for me. She spoiled it while claiming that she didn't want to spoil anything for anyone. I guess I got what I deserved for watching her stream. The best revenge is that the new co-head of DC has publically stated, on at least two occasions, that she's a liar who makes stuff up. I hope they crush her network of trash-picking informants.

What exactly are they building? Scooters? I would believe that if demand for candy-colored scooters on Tatooine was higher. Only a few hipsters seem to ride them. The accelerated rate at which they were forced to build widget X suggests something more sinister.

So 6 scooters there equates to millions of scooters in a place like Coruscant. Plus if all the eligible youths are hot rodding it at 5 miles per hour then theyre far too excited to join some annoying Rebellion. It's the long game.

Solid episode...didn't have to wait long to find out which rich family Vel comes from, lol. Just realized how many times I've seen the actor who plays Ulaf in stuff...

…continues to be the best show on streaming right now.
Syril's erotically charged elbow grab was a coming-out-of-the-fascist-closet birth cry. "I love violent oppression and harsh regimentation, and I don't care who knows it!"

Stellan Skarsgard and Andy Serkis both giving performences of a life time. This episode was by far the best in this show and that... is high praise on its own.

I'm running out of hyperbolic words of praise to describe this show. I'm beginning to think that the fact that this particular Star Wars show lacks "mass" appeal might be a blessing. Every Andor fan you find, and there are a few, seems to be a fairly reasonable person.
One Way Out is, of course, another stellar episode. I know everyone is crazy over the monologuing, and rightly so, but I was more impressed with the prison break itself and the depth of Luthen's dedication to the mission.
Star Wars or not, Andor is just great television.

Surprised that no one has gone off of the deep end with Snoke / Kino fan theories.

Surprised that no one has gone off of the deep end with Snoke / Kino fan theories. Wasn’t Snoke confirmed a clone of Palpatine? I can’t remember the details but I remember something like that.

IIRC - it's completely unresolved in the films. In the "lore" some SW nerd created a cloning backstory which is now excepted as canon. The should have just stared with the emperor or whatever…

I do have one micro criticism of the episode. They're doing a lot of telling and not showing when it comes to the separatist faction led by Anto Kreegyr. It doesn't help that Andor and Anto's names sound the same to an aging brain - thank goodness for captions. I hope they pay this off in the remaining episodes. No Syril in this episode either - they are playing an extremely long game with that character.

One of the best moments of dialog in all of Star Wars.
