Looks good. The High Evolutionary looking to be the main antagonist with Adam Warlock as a wild card. Theyre fighting another Abilisk I guess? It was the creature they fought in the opening of Volume 2. Their ship looks different too...I don't remember if it was destroyed or even when I would have really seen it last. I guess Thor 4 but I didn't pay attention to it. That plus I believe Ayesa (Elizabeth Debicki) is coming back as well. In what capacity I don't know.

Sounds like a solid win for Marvel, but its all due to James Gunn. They really need to trust more quality directors to do their thing. Hopefully that is what they take away from this. Basically what I’m sayin is: bring back Raimi and let my boy cook.

Looks good. I've been tricked before (it's not that hard). Some peeps wanna see Super Mario tomorrow but I'd rather hold out for this. The guardians of the galaxy world seems like license to pulp. I like stuff set on Earth too, but it's fun seeing what else is in the universe.
The Green Lantern animated movies have grown on me for the same reason. Now that I think about it, they both have a planet as a character. GL has that one planet that's a Green Lantern and the MCU has Ego.

I’m going to the 3PM matinee. I’ll have a short, non-spoiler review later. The reviews are positive. 🤞

James Gunn does it again. Nothing deep or profound, just a lot of fun action and heart tugs.

Biggest spoiler…but a happy one…no one dies! This is the best movie since Dr Strange. It’s very well paced mixing the funny with the serious action. There is a still some cutesy Disney with the kids in peril theme with a kid Guardian at the end 🙄.

I was ready to be emotionally destroyed. It happened but not with the characters I expected.

Loved Nathan Fillions character...the alien guy he badmouths looked like it might have been Adam Baldwin, but it doesn't appear to be the case. Maybe just my recent trip down Firefly lane gave me wishful thinking.
I adored the first post credits scene. The second one got a giggle and applause.

Damn this movie is really good. It elevates the whole trilogy as well.

This is going to be great! And GOTG is going to make a strong case for being the best trilogy out of all CBMs Well it just became a reality. It is the best CBM trilogy.

Yeah.... Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is my new no.1 MCU movie. And yes, the trilogy is by far the best CBM trilogy. No other tells such a great cohesive story over three movies.
The scene when Nebula hears Rocket's voice alone... Absolutely perfect.
James Gunn delivers a masterpiece. And Im very excited for the future of DC now.

I thought about this earlier and initially felt it was a negative but changed my mind upon reflection.
When Rocket is in 'the afterlife' and see the visions of Lylla, Teefs and Floor...I was initially wishing that they had lost their mechanizations and that in the afterlife they had become whole animals again and so when they showed up with their metal arms and wheels and what have you looking like Sids toys from Toy Story I got a little sad and thought they were getting a bit short changed not being able to be themselves in the hereafter. But that was wrong. Lylla Teefs and Floor never had any issues with their 'enhancements'. They never saw themselves as monsters or less than perfect creatures. They thought themselves worthy to live on Counter Earth as they were, cybernetic enhancements and all. So it makes total sense that they wouldn't need, or even want to be rid of these things in an astral heavenly form. And that thought made me smile.
