theyre typically calculated bets. This seems more like a shot in the dark I am sure they are just desperate at this point. 😂 Hey, remember how you said it was wonderful that Snyder fans were getting what they want? Now they've embraced a conspiracy theory about how Kevin Feige, Geoff Johns, and Disney murdered Zack Snyder's daughter and made it look like suicide to force him out of the production and so they could steal his plans. Still pleased these people are getting what they want?

Can I just say this looks juvenile to me? IDK what everybody else thinks but this was the second chance “all the time in the world to be awesome” version. I’m not feeling they got there.

It looks worse than the original one.
Snyder is gonna fuck this up is he.

I just watched a black & white version of the trailer.
I don't think this looks depressing enough.

It looks worse than the original one. Snyder is gonna fuck this up is he. I knew I wasn’t crazy. It’s the $70 you knew the first one sucked and got the chance to redo it on nearly a full blockbuster budget version too, and that’s what they came up with. I’ve thought this about Zach for awhile, but his DC movies feel like things a 5th grader came up with, and this fits right in with my impression of him.

I have mostly avoided this thread/topic due to a marked lack of interest in the Gone with the Wind of superhero films.
For me, this film will go down in history as one of these films that went so far up its own ass it's embarrassing to watch, like The English Patient or Natural Born Killers.
It's been interesting watching Mr. Snyder scale the highest heights of self-indulgence, but enough is enough. Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

A black and white trailer, four-hour runtime? What's next? An overture intermission?

A black and white trailer, four-hour runtime? What's next? An overture intermission? Whats most curious to me is the apparent confusion between simply wanting this cut (which is perfectly fine), and the cult level obsession for some sort of vindication which includes a lot of misleading components (such as when Zach was perfectly happy to let his fans think a cut was ready to go). Those aren’t the same thing, and I’m not sure how many people know when camp they’re actually in.

Those aren’t the same thing, and I’m not sure how many people know when camp they’re actually in. I think what you're responding to in general is the constant myth-building associated with the Snyder Cut. For the film to earn its (predetermined) legendary status, it has to have a flawless pedigree. It has to be born of struggle, doubt, and prodigious talent that is unappreciated. It's like Hercules being born and them immediately strangling two giant serpents to death in his crib, or Athena arriving from the head of Zeus fully formed and ready for combat. The Snyder cut must be "the ultimate triumph" over mediocrity and skepticism because Snyder willed it into existence. There is a constant push to make the Snyder cut feel like destiny. A narrative that entails an egotistical grifter's skill at wrangling social media, a troubled streaming platform, and on-set mayhem is inconvenient. Only a true hero could have labored for twelve days and twelve nights straight and emerged from the cave with the Snyder Cut reels in hand. Only a man cut from the iron fabric of gym jones' tank tops could have triumphed over the vacuum of insipid executive leadership and small minds.

I'm going to need you to do one of those Chevy Chase heroic Vacation posters for mr Snyder surrounded by his fans, because this is basically how I envision the entire enterprise

A lot of people are saying that the Snyder Cut may be so good that it forces Feige to reboot the entire MCU.

But this time they might actually be right! ,,,,,, howwwwww? I don’t pretend to know the answers to such things. All I know is that the doom of the MCU be indeed be at hand! I’m worried, Archie.
