The Library of Congress has also chosen The Exorcist for preservation in the NFR.

writer Chris Terrio:
“So this house of cards that had been built in order to motivate this clash between America’s two favorite heroes made no sense at all. That was what happened with ‘Batman/Superman.’ The movie was always was going to be dark. There were always going to be people who just didn’t want to see that version of a comic book world, and I get that. But what hurt was the criticism that the script was not coherent, because when I turned in the script to the studio – which they, by all accounts, were happy with – it made sense.”
“I went into such depression when the film was taken away and rewritten. But I didn’t even feel entitled to be depressed, because Zack and Debbie [Snyder] were dealing with their family tragedy. Measured against that, losing the film that you wrote seems like nothing at all. But it did hurt. It hurts to think that I cared so much about these characters and worked on nothing else for a very long time.
When those personal touches were removed from the film in the 2017 version, I was silent because I couldn’t really say anything, but of course it hurt. All that remained was a dinosaur skeleton of what had been a great, lumbering beast. It might’ve been a big, unruly beast, and obviously, it’s four hours and the movie is maximalist and it’s operatic and, sure, it’s a little crazy, but I think the movie is crazy in the best way.”

cinematographer Fabian Wagner:
“I think the guy who did our second unit did most of it. I was actually shooting a movie in the same studio space where they were doing the reshoots, so I only dropped in on the set once, which was a strange experience. It was very different than what I had experienced with Zack, so I wasn’t there for long. And obviously, I knew how many days they were reshooting [seven weeks], so that kind of sets off alarm bells. You think, ‘Wow, that’s a lot of,’ you know, ‘How’s that going to work?'”

The Snyder Cut is rad. Glad it was released. By the end I definitely wanted Superman to rip off what's his face's horn and beat him with the squishy end.

That was more surprising and disturbing than Will Smith’s slap!

Zack Snyder's Justice League didn't win an Oscar but got the 2022 Oscars Cheer Moment Apparently, they were able to vote 20 votes per day and they all count as votes, but only one is treated as an entry for that sweepstakes. So, if one loser with nothing better to do can vote 20 times a day, by definition it's wide open for vote spamming. I knew there was no way The Flash doing something we see in every time travel story could be more popular than Endgame's Portals or The Matrix's bullet dodging.

So what did the 2022 Oscars accomplish? Well, Chris Rock got slapped, which is always something I enjoy. And we learned that The Snyder Cult is so pervasive, they've infected and gatecrashed the Academy Awards. I wouldn't be surprise is that "empty seat" rumor about Captain Marvel ends up being true if WB Restores the Snyderverse, because I can absolutely see the Snyder Cult buying up more than one seat per person just to drive the ticket sales up.

Zack Snyder has officially announced plans to screen his three DCEU films, Man of Steel, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and his director's cut of Justice League, next month. The "Full Circle" SnyderCon event will feature the three movies screened across April 28, 29 and 30, with the IMAX version of Zack Snyder's Justice League showing on the big screen on the final night. "It's kind of a nice coming together of different things. I had always wanted to screen my three DC movies in the theater, together, and it was always one of those things that we were never sure would ever happen," Snyder told The Nerd Queens during a live stream. "Because the IMAX version of Justice League, we have screened it a couple of times in the black-and-white version [Zack Snyder's Justice League: Justice Is Gray Edition]. I just wasn't sure there was going to be another time when we could get the color version into the theater." comicbookmovie.com/justice-league/zack-snyder-officially-announces-full-circle-theatrical-screenings-of-his-dceu-films-a201162#gs.t7hwzs

"If Netflix had the rights to the characters from my DC universe, of course I would do it, absolutely," Snyder told CulturaOcio.com. And on that note.. President of Netflix Films, Scott Stuber, did recently admit that he would love to acquire the rights: "Obviously we would love to license it at some point. We'd love to have it so fans can experience more Zack. The more Zack we have the better we are."
