So how strong is this rumor? It’s always hard to tell. Are you not a fan of this? Im fine with it. Not opposed or anything.

So how strong is this rumor? Honestly? Murphy has a better track record compared to other scoopers. Obviously this doesn't guarantee anything but he was the one who broke the news about Evan Peters appearing on Wandavision as Pietro about a year ago.

In other F4 news Marvel recently announced a reprint of their out of print F4 omnibus collections! I’m definitely getting them. I love those original Lee/Kirby comics.

I’m cool with that casting. But I figured she’d be done with superhero movies by now.

I thought it seemed fishy We just got the film announcement and before a director or a date or anything the first but of “news” was Jennifer Lawrence? Didn’t make sense

Well...that's slightly disappointing. On the plus side, at least now there's still a chance of Emily Blunt scoring the role - that's what I'm hoping, at least (though I have this slight dread that whoever they do end up casting will have me wishing they had gone with JLaw).

TBH I’m just as happy with it not being Lawrence. I don’t dislike her, and I’ve only seen 4 films of hers, but she’s always the same to be. Katness, Mystique, Passengers, and Red Sparrow are all more the same character. It’s not a bad thing, but I’d just as rather have somebody with a little more range who might surprise me.

Since those are the only films you've seen her in, I can understand your feeling that she didn't display a ton of 'range' in those four particular roles. However, she played someone quite different in Silver Linings Playbook - for which she won her Oscar. I personally believe she should've won for Winter's Bone (which I think was the role that first got her recognition), as she was really good in that. Anyway, to each their own.

I fully admit I do not know all there is to know about Ms Lawrence. :-)

It's cool of you to be so open to exploring the filmography of an actress you don't really know that well, arch. You're more open-minded than a lot of people I've seen on the internet who will watch an actress in one role, decide they don't like her (half the time it's just the character they don't like, but they mistake the actress for the character) and form their opinion of her based solely on that one film, never giving them another chance. It's my belief that one has to see an actor/actress in a range of different types of roles before being able to form a fair opinion of their acting abilities. If you come away from watching JLaw in those^ movies Anna and I suggested not having changed your opinion of her as an actress...well, then at least you can say you gave her a fair chance.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski rumored to be in talks with Marvel. I dont believe it for a minute. I think they are looking for actors of Tom Holland's age. That would make sense.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski rumored to be in talks with Marvel. At this point, casting anyone but those^ two would feel like a disappointment.

I actually find it easier to ask for since they tried a younger Fantastic Four once with Fant4stic , which I thought was dreadful.
