He is the son of both Batman and Talia al Ghul. Highly intelligent and highly skilled (trained by the league of assassins)

going to confess on this one, I’m not actually 100% sure who Damian Wayne is. Is that Batman Beyond?

This is a relevant question for almost any DC character that has not yet appeared in live-action. The DC live-action universe is so scattered; you'd need to be watching all of it to make an informed decision. Based on what I know of, he'd probably fit into the 'Berlantiverse' reasonably well.
I was a fan of the character when he first debuted. As I've gotten older and the character has appeared in more stories, I realized I was only a fan of his chemistry with the Dick Grayson Robin (under Grant Morrison). His more recent outings have not been as dynamic or interesting as the material from the early 2000s.

I thought this thread was about those comedians in the 90s who were brothers.

Inconsistent portrayals and characterizations. Sometimes he's an unstable badass, and sometimes he's completely incompetent. His personality, on the whole, isn't a good match for any Batfamily mantle. He should have his own new and unique identity. It's long overdue.

I thought this thread was about those comedians in the 90s who were brothers. That's^ where my mind automatically went to as well (despite their last names being spelled differently). Sorry, @shadowbiz , I can't really offer an opinion on this subject. Honestly, from your description he sounds no different to a whole slew of other male superhero characters in the Batman-verse. I'd much rather see a comics-accurate version of Batgirl before anything else.

I don’t keep up with comics, therefore not sure if I’m familiar with this particular character. My answer shall be I don’t particularly care.

I like him alright. I think the best opportunity was after BVS and SS when Affleck was still involved. Even though I don't care for the show, it seems like Titans is the best option right now.

He is the single most unlikeable jackass in all of the DC canon, second only to Superboy Prime. Literally anyone else in the Batman family would be a better investment, especially when you consider everyone else has decades' more stories about them in the backlog to pull from for a long-term story across movies and television. Fuck Damien Wayne.

Fuck Damien Wayne. He aint that bad but I agree he's pretty arrogant. Although one is to expect that, considering where he was trained. Not sure on the details but didnt Ra's also train him personally?
