Ok I dont think Ive shared this before (not even on knowhere). Havent worked on this for a while but I think I might get cracking again soon enough. What do you guys think?
EXT. ISLAND. DAY.
There is a beautiful island. The type you would see on a
postcard. There are waves breaking on the shore and the
sounds of seagulls nearby. The sky is of a light
pink-orange hue.
EXT. AN AREA OF THE ISLAND. DAY
REMY BLAKE, late 20s, Ben Barnes AKA Prince Caspian from
Narnia look-a-like, is jogging against the shoreline. A
woman's figure is in the distance. She slowly comes into
focus, a beautiful woman with dark long hair in a black
bikini. REMY stops running and she is now in front of him.
They are about a normal conversation distance apart.
WOMAN
Honestly, what's the point of
this?

EXT. NEIGHBOURHOOD SIDEWALK. DAY.
REMY is walking to school with VALERIE CAMPBELL, cute high
school girl with big brown eyes and brown hair. She
radiates innocence. They have been friends since early
childhood. There are big trees around them with the colours
of Autumn. Red, orange and brown leaves.
VALERIE
So Remy, what are we doing after
school?
REMY
What do you mean 'we'?
VALERIE
I feel like doing something
afterwards. C'mon Remy. Please?
REMY
Fine. What do you want to do?
VALERIE
I don't know...
VALERIE dances with her next words and smiles cheekily
VALERIE (CONT'D)
Why. don't. you. surprise. me?
INT. CLASSROOM. DAY.
It is an English class. The teacher is randomly reading out
names from a list for a partner assignment. REMY has liked
this red-headed girl with exquisite blue eyes, CHARLOTTE
BROWN, for a while now and today might be the day he
musters up the courage to go and speak to this beautiful
vixen.
TEACHER
Charlotte and Remy.
The entire class moves to rearrange themselves to sit next
to their respective partners. REMY is nervous but plays it
cool.
REMY
So uh what do you want to write?
CHARLOTTE
I would like to try and write a
poem. I am Charlotte by the way.
REMY starts laughing. CHARLOTTE is not amused and looks
cross.
REMY
A poem? Really?
He continues laughing. She gives him a death stare and
stands up abruptly. REMY is looking nervous again, albeit
for very different reasons this time.
CHARLOTTE
What is so funny?! I introduce
myself and you start laughing like
some rabid hyena!
REMY gulps and sweats a little, it shows on his forehead.
REMY
Woah, woah. Calm down. Easy there.
CHARLOTTE
Don't you start patronising me
now!
REMY genuinely looks scared now. He's not sure as to what
action he should take exactly. The spectacle now has the
attention of the class. They are eagerly watching for his
next move. The male TEACHER finds this whole ordeal
entertaining.
REMY
Sorry.
The angry girl quickly calms down and smiles at REMY. He
himself is relieved as that oddly seemed to do the trick.
The class resumes to whatever they were doing before.
CHARLOTTE
What are you sorry for?
REMY
Being alive?
CHARLOTTE stares at him again. REMY reads that as "Try
again!"
REMY (CONT'D)
Sorry for laughing.
CHARLOTTE
Also I introduced myself
REMY
Err right, you did. I'm Remy.
Scared to meet you.
CHARLOTTE is the one to laugh this time. REMY sees this as
a good sign. He is reassured by this.
He thinks to himself (The viewer hears his thoughts). "What
just happened? Suddenly a scorpion girl? Then the next
minute, back to being a goddess. WOW"
SCI-FI TRI
A futuristic city skyline presents itself. One can tell
that it has a distinct Sumerian influence through the
design of the city. Just like today, there are pretty,
bright lights peppered all over the landscape.
INT. ROOM.
REMY, in his 80s now, part machine/part human, looking like
he has the conviction of someone that believes in a cause,
is sitting behind a desk on a chair. The furniture is
suspended in air. They are made of a blue crystal (glowing
and with thorns scattered throughout both pieces). The
cyborg seems like he is glued on to the chair but isn't in
pain. There is a light above illuminating the scene,
impossible to tell whether it is day or night outside the
facility.
A door appears and slides to the left, before it was just a
section of the wall.
INTERVIEWER
We finally meet.
REMY remains silent.
INTERVIEWER (CONT'D)
Oh don't be like that, you're not
my wife.
REMY smiles ever so slightly, he might as well have been
smiling in his own mind. It was hard to tell.
INTERVIEWER (CONT'D)
We got you. We know what you've
done. There's no point in...
REMY cuts him off.
REMY
You think.
INTERVIEWER
What was that?
REMY
You think you know what I've done.
REMY is beaming now, a wide toothy grin.
