Have the feeling Jane Foster's Mighty Thor is a variant coming through the Multiverse. Could this Lady Thor be Lady Loki’s (Sylvie) sister?

I cannot wait to find out how Jane got it. The fact that they brought her back after the character drifted away is pretty wild. I like it!

Hummmmmmmm If this Lady Thor is a variant with her own history, that is. Sylvie is our Loki’s counterpart from another timeline, therefore who is our Thor’s counterpart from Lady Loki’s dimension? This would be Sylvia’s sibling from her Asgard.

That means theres probably a male Lady Siff...called Biff. This pleases me.

I mean maybe but I don’t think every film and story is going to play around with multiverse stuff and I think the story is much more impactful if it’s Jane and not some variant of Jane. If it’s a variant of Jane, then I don’t know what the point would be, because it’s not Jane. And plus the hammer is cracked. So it seems pretty clear she’s in control of the hammer we’ve seen before. I’d bet a lot of money that it’s the Jane we saw in the first two films. Maybe not. But I’d be a little surprised if it wasn’t.

I know they mention her in Endgame...Thor tells us they broke up or something. I don't recall any other hints as to where she's been the last however many years. I guess it doesn't really matter unless it ties into how and why she now wields the power of Thor.

I just want to say that this teaser showed me plenty. I don't really need more to be shown to me to know I want to see the movie. I consider this teaser less of a teaser and more of a full blown trailer and I worry that the following trailers before this film comes out will basically reveal everything to me so Im gonna try to avoid them. The exception is if they air one before a movie in the theatre because Im not gonna close my eyes and plug my ears but I really hope the trailers don't give people every emotional beat from this film prior to release. Show me less.

The first 2 novels are great. Pretty sure all three were released in the same year. Third I still need to finish-couldnt get into it for some reason Movie is definitely worth seeing, from memory it has things from each book. One of the better, modern scifi flicks

I liked the Annihilation movie. Never even knew they were based on books.
As far as Portman I always think her best acting gig was Black Swan. Portman is a ballet dancer who starts losing her mind a bit.

I'm hoping in vain that the same director will attempt to adapt Authority and Acceptance. People say those books are unfilmable. Oscar Isaac was in Annihilation.

If you're an MCU skeptic looking for a substantive complaint against this film, Disney+, and the Marvel Studios enterprise, I've got you covered. The lower right portion of this image (which I was forced to straighten because it was crooked and it irked me) features the Egyptian goddess Bastet (aka Bast). Bast is the goddess who protects Wakanda and bestows superhuman abilities onto the de facto head of the Panther Cult (aka The Black Panther). Although not a member of the Ennead, Bast is a member of the Egyptian pantheon of gods. Her portrayal as a human female is inconsistent with the depiction of Egyptian gods and goddesses in Moon Knight. She should be a 12-foot-tall woman with the head of a cat-or-lion. The larger this universe grows, the more inconsistent it becomes. Bastet will be played by, Akosia Sabet.

I thought it was a statue or a bust or something. Could they be the avatar or Bastet I wonder? Or just someone from Wakanda? This whole scene has me curious what this is all about.
