I’m a few episodes into Wednesday and am enjoying it. This feels like Jenna Ortegas breakthrough year, I just hope she doesn’t fizzle out.

I just finished "Wednesday" and I liked it a lot. That's coming from a life-long Addams Family fan.

Started watching Kaleidoscope. Its a series where the episodes are randomly generated so different people may watch the series in a different order. Not sure if that really changes things up much other than maybe pacing but...2 episodes in so far. Mine started Yellow then Green.
Its decent so far. The yellow episode had the team coming together I suppose, while the Green focused on Leo and Stan when they were cellmates. I wondered if the colors would be more relevant to either the episodes or the characters but so far I haven't noticed a consistency there.

They just canceled the adult animated show 'INSIDE JOB', despite announcing that it got renewed for a second season earlier.

Finished this...found myself really into it the last 3-4 episodes. The somewhat random episode structure, I think, means it takes time to get invested since we're jumping all over seeing these people working together before we know much about them. I was suprised at how bleak it wound up being though. I expected it to be light and fluffy heist stuff the whole way through but it got pretty down by the end. Definitely not the happiest of endings. I really dug it though. Kinda want to rewatch chronologically but we'll see if I wind up putting the time in again.

Netflix has picked up the animated series Jentry Chau vs The Underworld, featuring the voices of Ali Wong (who also serves as an exec producer), Bowen Yang, Lori Tan Chinn, Lucy Liu, Jimmy O. Yang, Sheng Wang and Woosung Kim. The supernatural action series follows Jentry Chau (Wong), “a Chinese-American teen living in a small Texas town, who finds out a demon king is hunting her for the supernatural powers she’s been working her whole life to repress,” per the official synopsis. “With the help of her weapons expert great-aunt and a millennia-old jiangshi (Chinese hopping vampire), Jentry must now fight an entire underworld’s worth of monsters while balancing the horrors of high school.”

I’d check it out but I’m worried I’ll just get in the mood to watch the film instead.

Other than there was some good action scenes, I've forgotten everything about the first movie, but I'll still watch this one.

Saw Netflix’s new Murder Mystery 2 the other day. I was going to post a review on v2.0, but I didn’t have enough to say. Just like the first one, it’s fine. It’s extremely fast paced, so if you don’t like one joke, don’t worry, there’ll be another one a millisecond later. Sandler and Aniston could do this material in their sleep. The only interesting thing is that for a few minutes—in the wedding scene, which has a pseudo-Bollywood musical number, an elephant, and a murder—it seems like it’s going to be a lot better than the first one. Then that scene’s over and we’re back to same old, same old. Ah well.
