Anyone get the feeling that they're teasing Mephistopheles? One theory says it might be Dormammu. Anyone's guess really. Too early You spotted something specific?

8 of 10. The show is very well crafted - Jac Schaeffer and company deserve a lot of credit for creating a show that is both "high concept" and readily accessible. The sitcoms being a metaphor for Wanda's idyllic life, works well, even if she is too young to have seen those sitcoms she's emulating. I guess they must have Nick at Nite in Sokovia. "It's too short" seems to be the frequent criticism of the show. That's interesting, considering how everyone thought the Netflix shows were too padded. There's no pleasing the fans, but Disney made the right call with shorter episodes. It leaves everyone wanting more. More to come in our detailed review on the Sakaar YouTube channel. Be sure to get subscribed if you haven't already.

BAM!!!!
That was so much fun!
Spoiler free, love the playfulness and the purposefully hammy mockery of old school sitcoms out of the gate. But more importantly is using the concept of classic television seriously in terms of setting of narratively adapting it as an ideal life for Wanda and Vision. And the progression of that I think is going to mirror TV’s progression into more realistic family environments like Rosanne with Wanda’s gradual character progression through the show. I also enjoyed the few moments of mystery. We have some clear hints, but there’s at least three other aspects that seem completely in the dark for now.
It’s unique, it’s going to build to something incredible, and damn is it great to have the MCU back

So I rewatched them again. And yeah, this is awesome. The ending of Episode 2... Thats the important part. That really does make you start to wonder what’s really going on, as well as “what is she thinking?”

Loved it. Absolute joy and that underlying sense of dread you can feel looming. It’s going to be brilliant.
Several big thoughts.
- SWORD is on the outside looking in, but what do they know. What has she done to the outside that’s caught their attention? My guess is still that the people in this town are real, and she’s caught them in her bubble.
- But who was the bee keeper and how did he get it? Or did he? I don’t think so, I don’t think the helicopter did either. I think those are manifestations of her subconscious. She knows but she doesn’t really know just yet. And we can see that she’s able to simply push it away.
- But the big big question is who is doing this to her. I think Agatha is trying to help. She said one specific thing, “That’s not the only place the devil is”. Guys, I’m worried about the MCU getting Mephisto’d

Yeah, but the reviews themselves are really funny when you read them all back to back. It’s a constant alternating “Perfect series!” “Garbage!” “Best Show Ever!” “I hate it!”

It’s a constant alternating “Perfect series!” “Garbage!” “Best Show Ever!” “I hate it!” I would rate it 7/10 so far. I wish they had woven the outside world a little bit more already. Now its almost completely the comedy part. And that may turn people of in the beginning. I already received a lot of questions from people what the hell is going on.

Having not watched the trailers I was a little surprised to see the Dick Van Dyke show be part of the conversation. That's one of my favorite sitcoms ever!

Does it do a different era of sitcom for each or does it change mid episode?

The RT score is back up to 97%. I think it got as low as 94% at one point. What a roller coaster!

The first episode plays hommage to The Dick van Dyke Show. The second one to Bewitched. Fun fact: Bewitched switched from Black & White to Colour during the run of the show. So did episode two.

But lets be honest
Elizabeth Olsen can wear a garbage bag and would still look stunning.

Nope not yet. I just checked this thread and saw you talking about the Dick Van Dyke show. Taylor is a big time classic TV fan. Can’t wait for his take. I grew up with my mom having Bewitched or the Brady Bunch on, and we’ve recently gone back and watched a lot of I Love Lucy. Of course I always enjoyed the Roseanne era of shows and I’m loving how they’re using the concept as the vehicle for her development. It’s fun. It’s smart. Had a great time.
