They should bring back Jan de Bont as the director.

People online seem really mad that Bill Paxton is not in the movie. *pause* Should we tell them?

People online seem really mad that Bill Paxton is not in the movie. *pause* Should we tell them? I assume they’ll explain it away as him having married Helen Hunt, struggling to have children until one day they find a spacecraft crashed in a field with a child draped in a red blanket moving about inside, whom they then take home and raise as their own until one day a tornado catches Bill off guard and just when his adopted son is about to help him he motions for him not to and is immediately torn away by the tornado.

I was hoping it was about a national Twister tournament.
"Sally and Jeff dreamed of making it to the national championship. They practiced their winning contortion strategy for weeks. But they didn't count on Steve and Linda and their all conquering "octopus attack" maneuver."

Don't oversell it too hard, Powell.
TEXT:
Regardless of whether it’s a sequel to the Helen Hunt-led hit or just a story in the same universe, Powell admits: “All I can say is it's badass.”
“It’s really cool. The movie — I mean we have the best of the best in terms of actors and department heads on this thing,” he continues. “Lee Isaac Chung directed the hell out of it.”
He also reveals that the cast “just saw it and it’s spectacular. I'm super excited to unleash it on audiences this summer."
