What do we think of the Russia-Ukraine situation?
In wars, all sides put out propaganda (the media machine/control of information): whether it may be the truth, partially true or a lie
I dont think either side sees themselves as the villain. The West fighting for democracy and against tyranny. Putin reminiscing about times of old, the Soviets and the shared history between Ukraine and Russia. He was ex-KGB (main security agency of the Soviet Union)
Some things to consider:
-That Russia has still not gone full strength on Ukraine-perhaps even without nukes and their aim is to not level the place but to quickly gain control and make use of what's already there
*from what I understand it is a Russian tactic to keep throwing bodies kind of like a war of attrition I suppose and that more inexperienced and conscript soldiers (and for recon), old equipment and weapons would be used first
-That Russia hasnt used a nuke yet as they know America would just shoot it down (I know of the missile defense shield-not sure if operational) and if the US knows this then it's a money war (military contractors profiting), to topple Russia economically or both
-That Russia is actually in trouble and not doing well with the war
-That Russia doesnt really need Europe for gas money as they sell it to China and India, and that China apparently resells some to the US
-In WW2 the jet engine and the atomic bomb were developed
-The Russians have a submarine that can send an irradiated tsunami and has gone missing-not in the Black Sea hence not for Ukraine
-Americans not too long ago displayed a US navy laser that I think can shoot planes out of the sky? Stealth bombers etc
Most likely they both have advanced weaponry that hasnt seen the light of day so to speak
Some think that because Russia is not doing well or so it appears and that might mean their nukes could be crap, badly maintained or some may no longer function
