I must be one of the few that thought this was one of Gibson's weaker novels. It's way too dense up front. Not sure I'm interested in watching it, but I will check some reviews before deciding.

I watched half already and it's ok, not really a must-see series. I feel like Jonathan and Lisa Joy are running out of fresh ideas. However I did like Reminiscence but it flopped. I think it was also during the pandemic? Either way not great

The idea of quantum tunneling data information from the past to the future and back is not out of the realm of possibilities. Not physical time travel, but close enough.

Apparently the target audience is teens and twenty somethings. I only watched the first two episodes. I'm probably not going to continue. It's dark and serious, with no humor. If you are too young to see the plotholes, cliches and illogical improbablilties, you can probably enjoy this show. Because the scenery, London futurescape, future technology, special effects, music and premise are good. But for what is often the case, the writing is stupid. Plotholes, cliches and improbablilties - - Hollywood cliche of a super rich criminal controlling a poor county. Only two good natured cops who seemingly have no idea what's going on. Where is the county prosecutor? Where are the state police? Where is the state prosecutor? Where is the FBI? - Future hitmen park their invisible cars right in the middle of a street where any passing vehicle could run right into them. Why not hide them in the woods, or at least off the road? And they leave the doors unlocked? - In a second firefight, good guys take effective cover behind aluminum and tin structures. Future high powered weapons cannot penatrate tin and aluminum? - To end the second firefight, one armed, no legged guy repells second attack --- how ?? Did he have built in weapons on his magic motorcycle they didn't show? - Protagonists not going to authorities when targeted by future criminals. In real life, the common, understandable reaction to having future criminals coming back in time to kill you and your family, is to go to the law enforcement authorities. But this response is not even considered. Why? So the TV show can happen.

I finished the first season a while ago. Overall, it's pretty good. However, there are certain aspects of the plot that I didn't follow very well. There are 3 possible reasons for this:
1. I'm too dumb to follow it.
2. The plot/writing is too complicated to follow.
3. It's too boring for me to bother paying close enough attention to follow it.
If I had to guess, I'd say it's number 3.
