I thought this was appropriate, considering three of the members here are Australian Chalice_Of_Evil @phistosgauntlet and taylorfirst1So this will be a safe space for questions and comments relating to anything “down under” without shame or embarrassment. We’re all adults here so hopefully the mods won’t mind this type of subject matter. So let’s begin the discussion, or as they say in Australia: Gehen Sie raus!

So I actually did not ever consider this until recently, but for you all, July is winter and December is summer! I always knew you were in opposite seasons but it’s so wild that the months we think of are the opposite seasons too! You guys are nuts, man!

Taylor1 is from Australia? Pretty sure. Just going off of his thick accent. Might be New Zeland though.

Never even been to Australia or New Zealand. I'm not even 100% sure they're real places.

It’s a brief month long period where the temperatures drop dramatically as the jet stream shifts cold antarctic air and they get heavy snowfall for about a week. Many koalas die as a result and that’s why koala jerky is such a famous treat for the months after that, as are the heavy floods from snow melting from the central mountains.

They will dress in traditional Japanese, Chinese, Mongolian, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Philippine, Burmese, Thai, and North Korean regalia while dining on wallaby during the overlapping hunting season.

Australia is the USA upside down. Yes, we're *so* dirty here in Brisbane. Can confirm. Literally in the heart of Brisbane right now. Lots of bums and tent cities. However I did just see a bum in a tattered blazer pull out a handkerchief to cough before he smashed a car window. There is class, honor and hygiene among thieves apparently heeheehee

Australia is the USA upside down. Hey what's Toronto randomly doing on the map lol? Yes Melbourne is great like that and have heard Toronto is similar. Flip America the right way around and I suppose New Orleans could fill in for Toronto. Am I good or what? *kisses own brainy biceps*
