I actually don't mind Pandorum. I was introduced to the movie thanks to a friend of mine first mentioning the actress Antje Traue to me. Said I should check her out. She was most definitely the best part of the film. After that, I made a point of finding any interviews I could with her. She was also, quite clearly, the best part of MoS (and the only thing in that movie I actually like). Seventh Son, which I checked out for Antje Traue AND Alicia Vikander, is a very different matter. Despite having two actresses in it I'm a fan of...I regretted buying that movie on Blu-ray to check it out. It's SO TERRIBLE. I don't think I can ever bring myself to rewatch it. If anyone ever wants to listen to Jeff Bridges putting on a completely WTF-worthy voice...then watch this movie. Everyone else? Otherwise best to avoid it at all costs. That movie truly tested my devotion to AT and AV. I think people are a little too hard on MoS. It's not a masterpiece, and it has plenty of flaws, but it's hard to deny how confident and bold it is, even if you disagree with Snyder's vision. I'm not a Cavill apologist. His acting is kind of stilted in the same way Keanu Reeves' acting was weirdly wooden during his early career, but Cavill might have better enunciation on his side. I think he's improved as an actor substantially since MoS (see MI7). I don't follow celebrities, but I kept tabs on Traue because she seemed genuinely friendly. I vaguely recall overhearing her talking to a fan that was gushing about how beautiful she was, and she said something to the effect that her teeth were all crooked, and she never liked her nose or something like that. How weird is that? Seventh Son was indeed a train wreck, and I think Bridges was legit drunk throughout most of the film. It confidently and boldly ruined the character for an entire generation.

Yeah, Antje Traue was someone I was fascinated with enough to check out all her interviews I could find at the time. I think I vaguely recall that self-deprecating comment she made about herself. She seems humble. I agree with you on those^ last two points you made regarding Seventh Son.

If I really have to choose one, I'd go with The Batman 2.
But I'll gladly have both.

I’d prefer a Superman movie, especially with a villain we haven’t seen like Bizarro or Brainiac, because we already have so many good Batman movies but so few good Superman movies.
But I wouldn’t want it with Henry Cavill, whom I mostly find handsomely wooden like a ’30s hero (paging David Manners!), or—as much as I’ve defended BvS—Zack Snyder, who I don’t think is a good fit for Supes.
So I guess, reluctantly, Bats again, though I didn’t like The Batman much at all.

Tie? Unacceptable! I will get my very real Twitter army to change this That's because whenever one is in the lead, I keep voting for whichever one is behind to even things out.

I’ve reduced my posts partly because I was weary of talking about things I don’t like. They obviously don’t want to make man of steel 2 or they would have done it within a decade of the original. And it’s a bad idea to do it now. Nuff said. Batman 2

Chalice_Of_Evil and AQUA RAPTOR! and AQUA SALZ! have already perfectly articulated my exact thoughts on Man of Steel. (It’s ass on wheels) The Batman, however, was almost a masterpiece save for a few botched story points and a mediocre climax. I need more. Bring on the Reevesiness. (But definitely REBOOT Superman too. Just don’t let Snyder or Cavil near it!)

Tough choice. I normally always choose Batman but I feel as though he's had a lot of attention lately and I'm feeling magnanimous. So why not go with Nan of Steel 2?

The vote is in; the caped crusader's enduring appeal is undeniable.
I stand with the last son Krypton.
If the Man of Steel were reintroduced in a bold, new silver-age informed adventure, filled with the optimism and wonder of the era, we would quickly see the Batman recede into the shadows.
Doomed Planet. Desperate scientists. Last hope. Kindly couple.
…man of tomorrow.
Thanks for voting.
