Well, I'd have to watch all the seasons of Arrow that I haven't watched (ie. everything after Season 5, which I only started but haven't gotten around to finishing) to get up to date first before offering my thoughts on the subject. I know there were Laurel haters out there. I never had a problem with her (or Katie Cassidy, for that matter. I'm hoping that whatever next project she's on it's one where the 'fangirls' don't attack her. She already dealt with that crap on both Supernatural and Arrow). If we're talking about original Laurel (Seasons 1-4), then I thought she got a raw deal.

It doesn't really matter to me who Oliver ended up with. I just think they went about most of the romantic relationships in "Arrow" in the most bone-headed way possible. Oliver ending up with Felicity is fine, but they needed to do it better. As it is, I don't think Oliver ending up with Laurel would have been much better considering how aptly they were shown to bungle even good the better pairings.

The show screwed up Laurel in so many ways. If she had ended up with Oliver, it would have been fine.

I liked her the most so I'm fine with that.

Lol technically i did but i dont think anyone cares about romantic endgame unless youre aware of comic book/animated show Green Arrow and Black Canary To be blunt, I think superhero TV shows should steer clear of putting too much focus on romantic subplots in general. I doubt they'd take much of a hit in the ratings. Even my mom and sister didn't watch "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" just for the romantic subplot, and that show was dedicated to it. The DCAU did it best, where romance was just there playfully, but they rarely did anything with it except let the personalities bounce off each other.

You beat me to the punch! I was going to say that of course they had a baby — — but Laurel sadly ended up with Barnaby: As told in this heartbreaking dialogue:

Laurel and Hardy. They were the best.
