Thanks for this. It's good that the show knows when it's time to end and don't drag this out any longer. Nice choice of song for the trailer (since theirs is a 'romance' of sorts). With all these hints of it not ending well for either of them...I'm wondering if it's making it TOO obvious that they'll die, and therefore they won't? Maybe they'll fake their deaths and go off to live happily ever after. Who knows? My favourite part of the trailer... "Do you know that fable about the scorpion and the frog?" "They hook up?" I knew of Jodie Comer before watching this show, but I'm glad it introduced her to a much wider audience and gained her recognition. I hope she goes on to great things that are worthy of her talents. Heh, just stumbled across this...

It's safe to say I prefer Killing Eve (and the two characters staring at each other through an artfully-lit fish tank in that show) a LOT more than anything to do with Romeo + Juliet, which just gave me a headache trying to understand WTF they were saying. We read the book at school and I performed a monologue as Romeo - which was me just making up a whole bunch of BS. I think it got some laughs (even a few intentional ones) and I got a passing grade for that assignment...so, in conclusion, that's the only 'positive' I have to say about that movie.

I liked the movie. Obviously hyper stylized and modernized. Yeah the Shakespearean spoken language was a nightmare to understand. I had to watch it a couple of times for English. Also study the actual play itself. Othello was another one. Again a modernized take of a movie we watched too where the Moor was a police captain or something. However, no movie for The Tempest but that couldve been a bonus audio recording If I recall correctly, now this was at uni not high school anymore, an assignment was due for some English related class I was taking. I had forgotten about it until the tutor mentioned the dreaded word Presentations. It's like oh fuck...anyway everyone had to explain some passage in a creative way from the play. About 2 min worth. All I wanted to do was bolt out from the classroom. I was so scared from being so unprepared and it was Shakespeare too lol. It came to the crunch and I already showed up to the class. I just did it. Said that I had forgotten today was the day and just kind of winged it uncreatively and said my piece

Watched the series final of Killing Eve last night. Yeah it was disappointingly underwhelming...the season itself was so-so Honestly what was the point of that new Indian chick character? I may be mistaken, but my personal view on this craptacular final season of the show is that Sndra Oh (who played Eve) probably didn't like that Jodie Comer (who played Villanelle) was becoming the more popular one in the show. After all, she was 'Joker' to Eve's 'Batman', and everyone knows that 9/10 the villains are the more entertaining ones. So I think that since Sandra became an executive producer in the show, she saw to it that Villanelle was given the most BORING storyline possible in this season, they wrote the character blandly and tried to make this Pam chick the new Villanelle...except that actress had none of the charisma of Jodie Comer and was a poor imitation. Also, Eve got to kill a bunch of people this season, which I guess they thought would make her more interesting...except it didn't. In the end, whatever the reasons were for writing Villanelle to be so bland this season and sticking her in the most dull storyline possible...it wound up hurting the show. **spoilers for final below** To cap things off, they couldn't even let Villanelle live. They had to ensure that the most entertaining character in the show reached a conclusive demise so that if any future projects ever happen, she can't 'steal' Eve's thunder anymore. In doing so, what they've actually ensured is that the majority of the show's fans will have no interest in any future projects if there are ones. There's also the whole 'bury your gay's trope which has ticked an immense amount of people off, since the show couldn't even let the Eve/Villanelle couple be happy for longer than five minutes. Anyway, I admit I could be way off base...that's^ just my interpretation of what went on behind the scenes that led to this utter waste of a final season. Personally, I'd jsut pretend the fourth season didn't happen at all and the third season's final, with its open ending, was the last one. I have to laugh at the star rating the series final has earned itself on IMDB... www.imdb.com/title/tt15079460/As that's^ about what I feel it deserves (actually...no, that rating is STILL too generous). Oh well, if nothing else...this show managed to craft a final season/series final that I found worse than GoT's - and that's quite the feat.

I mean look at what Jodie Comer has been getting. Cameo in Star Wars, a Ridley Scott movie, starring alongside Ryan Reynolds. If that's the case she was probably glad to get out of the show. On to the next thing for her. A highlight for me in the season is that Carolyn's past was explored more, that and her buddying up with V for a little while Eve was never really the interesting character and Sandra Oh needs to understand that. Maybe the show ended early because of some clash? I only really watched the show, didnt really pay attention to anything else related to it
