I honestly don't get this obsession with bring old people back, and I say that as an old person. Heeeeeeere's Nostalgy! At least it's the final entry. Probably a better choice than the first like Force Awakens. Trailer looks promising though. Hope it lives up to it

I’m curious what that swarm is that they’re running from halfway in the trailer. Baby pteranodons? Prehistoric insects?

Thanks for the reassurance. I appreciate it. But that's^ part of the reason why I think they will off her - because previously none of the main 'heroes' have ever been offed in these movies, and I think they'll want to shake things up/actually have some 'stakes' (whereas if it's just a bunch of characters who no one cares about that get offed, then there's no real sense of 'danger'). I can see their way of thinking - can't off the original trio, can't off Pratt because he's the 'hero', they're not going to off the kid or the new chick they've introduced in this movie...so that just leaves BDH's character, Claire. The fact that we saw her in TWO instances where it looks like she's seconds away from death makes me feel that there's no way she's going to escape from both. Anyway, I hope I'm wrong and you're right. I'll be waiting anxiously to find out. More likely they will kill off one of the originals like Alan Grant or Ian Malcolm. And just after spouting one of their nostalgic catchphrases no doubt. Ian, in the jaws of a Rex: “Life, uh, found a way”. *chomp* Cue sad version of the original theme. I just think that out of all the characters (the original trio, Pratt, the kid, new chick), BDH's character will be regarded by the filmmakers as the most 'expendable' as no one seems to like her (except, you know, me) and is seen as the 'most boring' - therefore she'll get the chomp.

Well, out of the original cast, Henry Wu actually died in the first book. Maybe he makes a heel-faced turn at the last minute and gets eaten for it.

Bit from an interview with Sam Neill: "Well, we had a blast. I was pleased to do it for a number of reasons. First of all, to be with my old friends Laura and Jeff, you know. We were – this was in the middle of the pandemic – we were locked up in a hotel together in somewhat idyllic rural England and everyone all got on really well. The new cast I liked very much; and the established Jurassic World cast, they're just the nicest people. Bryce and Chris are absolute sweethearts. Because we were so beleaguered by COVID at this point, we felt we were on our own brave enterprise in a way, and that brought us closer together than ever. It was really an unforgettable time and I'm very grateful for it," Neill shared. He added, "I haven't seen the finished film yet. I'm sure it's a very ambitious, huge story, a lot of characters, a lot of dinosaurs. [Laughs] It's going to be unquestionably big, so they've been holding it back until hopefully cinemas are fully open and all that. It's something that needs to be seen on a very big screen." comicbook.com/movies/news/jurassic-world-photos-feature-new-look-at-dewanda-wises-character/

SPICY HOT TAKE: The Lost World is the best Jurassic Park sequel. It blows Treverowow’s movies out of the prehistoric lagoon.
