We’ll see if it gets made. i would think after RJ and D&D fell through, this one would be guaranteed to film after all, they need to have something in the pipeline

Honestly, I think it's a shame to have good directors attached to these movies. It's far too late, in my opinion anyway, to salvage the franchise. They had one shot and they blew it.

Disney really doesn't like to give up, do they? Their approach to Star Wars is very similar to how WB approaches DC films. I guess we'll see how this pans out.

It'd have to go off without a hitch not to get tainted in the months leading up to it at this point. The instant there's any news of production being halted, or behind the scenes drama, people are going to think less of the film before it even gets released, and with good reason. They're just going to have to run a real tight ship this time. Several tenuously connected smaller stories that sometimes crossover and have nothing to do with the Skywalker family?

While I'm happy to get more Star Wars movies...that was not what I was hoping for.

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy on Daisy Ridley’s New Rey Film, ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Season 2 and Rian Johnson’s ‘Star Wars’ FutureShe's a great producer - but she has no clue know how to run a studio. Iger needs to cut her loose in 24.Yes, because Ryan controls the fate of the franchise. What a way to punt, Kathleen. We're going to make it, "one day?" Yes, and you're going to know what you're doing, "one day," too."Maybe down the road?" Is she trying to win an aware for coming up with the most clichéd ways of saying, we're not doing it - without actually saying those words? She should stop clowning the fans, take the L, and admit that none of this is going to happen. She's knows she's on her way out and the only thing she cares about is her "girl power" legacy. She's just trying to shoehorn in three more female-led Star Wars movies. All she has to do is get them past the go-no-go point before her contract ends and then she can walk. This new trilogy won't add up to more than a bumper sticker on a land speeder. "The Force is Female!" For the deadly, toxic trolls that will translate to, "The Farce has been Forcibly Feminized."

According to Daniel Richtmann, it is still in development at Lucasfilm.
