The music sounds great. Of everything that came out of fandom, this looks the best, and I'm not even into Johnson like most.

What I liked is that Johnson immediately kills that goon without hesitation. It seems like they’re really going to lean into the ruthless anti-heroic angle.

*sigh* I remember the days when they used to actually wait to see if a film was successful/received well before they announced any sequels or spin-offs to it.

Geekosity reported that Henry Cavill was in talks for reprising his role as Superman for a Black Adam 2. Looks like it's just a rumor though at this point.

There better be a Kamehameha reference dropped.

In Shazam, Black Adam is referenced as the first champion of the Council of Wizards, who chooses revenge and releases evil on the world.
“Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods—and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.”

New pics from the DC mashup trailer.
Perhaps we’ll see a full length trailer soon?

Trailer description from CinemaCon: Beginning with futuristic ships flying “against a snowy mountain landscape.” We then get a shot of Pierce Brosnan’s Dr. Fate, who says, “Black Adam, what are the powers that have been given to you? Loving but heartache?” Johnson’s Black Adam then says “that he was born a slave, “then I was reborn a god.’ Black Adam can be the savior of the world, or its enemy.” Things quickly kick off, with Black Adam seen “destroying helicopters and coming in contact with what looks to be mercenaries.” Even walking away from an explosion in true action hero style. Understandably, the mercenaries are scared of the antihero in front of them, especially when he “catches a rocket.” After some action shots of the Justice Society of America, Black Adam shows us what makes him so different from the likes of Superman and Batman. Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman stands face-to-face with Black Adam and says, “There are heroes and villains; heroes don’t kill people.” “Well, I do,” Black Adam replies. The crowd cheers. The hierarchy of power has indeed changed. movieweb.com/black-adam-cinemacon-footage-teases-antihero-action-the-rock/

The hierarchy of power has indeed changed. That^ might've meant something back before we saw basically every member of the Justice League offing people. Now, though? It doesn't really set him apart from the rest/make him 'different' or 'special'.
