I've read all the articles in Deadline and I have yet to see 1 specific allegation. Alternate reply: He supposedly told Buffy that she was busty. Inappropriate! (pick which reply you find funny -if any- and then promptly disregard the other)

So do I. Well, The Avengers anyway. Lots of celebs are douche bags so I can separate the man from the work. I would never defend a despicable actor because I like their work. I just merely meant that sometimes I can set that aside and just enjoy the work as it’s own thing. Exactly. Whatever was or wasn't said doesn't in any way lessen the quality of the shows and movies that they've made. If you thought BtVS was great before, there's no reason to change your opinion of it now just because of these reports. The shows/movies and the person who made them should be considered separately. This is the same mentality which nearly got Sebastian Stan nearly cancelled last year when someone unearthed a picture of an ex-girlfriend of his wearing a kimono at a theme party. Yeah, he was nearly cancelled because he once dated someone who wore attire from outside her own culture. I don't even understand that. I thought "multi-cultiralism" was supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. Should we cancel Japanese men who wear business suits? Is that cultural appropriation? How about African American women who straighten and dye their hair?

Apparently he called Charisma fat and threatened to fire her. And 25 years later she is still emotionally scarred and people call her a survivor because of THAT?
This sets women back. It gives the impression that they are so weak and fragile that they can't handle even the slightest hardship.
If she ever had to face 1/100th of what I have gone through in my professional life, she would be rolled up on the floor in the fetal position.

For me, the material part of her grievance is the forcing of a woman who was sixth months pregnant to show up for a 1 AM call and to endure longer-than-usual hours on set, just because a ginger doesn't know how to operate a telephone. She could have quit, but, if at all true, that seems unreasonably punitive.

No joke. Saw shrinks, experienced panic attacks and everything

My sister has laughed at people who have said worse things to her, and then asked if that was the best they've got. Then she'd proceed to school them on how to properly insult her. She humiliated so many people by critiquing their weak insults that way. Yes, humiliated, because they'd be the ones taking it personally and feeling belittled by the time she was done with them. And then you'd never hear another word about the incident from her.

"In a later re-editing of her initial post, Trachtenberg added: “The last. Comment I will make on this. Was. There was a rule. Saying. He’s not allowed in a room alone with Michelle again.” The remark of “a rule” by the actress implies that others knew of Whedon’s allegedly inappropriate interaction with the then minor and had set up a safeguard to prevent a repetition of the occurrence – a new turn in this already twist tale." If this is true, what the fuck did he do/attempt to do with Michelle that forced a rule into place? This is not a good look for Whedon, especially since Michele was underage at the time. deadline.com/2021/02/joss-whedon-abuse-claims-eliza-dushku-charisma-carpenter-support-sarah-michelle-gellar-1234692782/amp/

Still don't buy it. Not in the immediate fallout of someone trying to get Chris Pratt cancelled with faked tweets.
