You mean an ongoing series of films with both a big overarcing story that connects all the films together and a bunch of smaller stories that carry through the individual sagas has to plan everything out well in advance before they can make anything? Scandalous.

This seems basically required for long term multiple film productions. I like the concept. I’m sure there’s concern about it getting overused and sure that’s bound to happen some, it’s the kind of thing you can plot out various versions of a scene with so you know you’re filming the best possible version of it instead of realizing later that it’s not working.
