re Gotham which is a show without Batman but you get his teenage version or Agents of Shield where Phil Coulson cameos in the MCU and then a spin-off was made

Tv definitely DC. They have too many shows that people love to claim otherwise. I dont think Marvel is bad per se but they only had one tv show running 7 seasons, the rest never came further than three.
Movies definitely Marvel. Thats not a debate imo. Even if you are not a fan you still cant deny the success of their universe. DC however is a different story both in box office numbers and terms of quality. That have been a mixed bag of turds and one or two golden nuggets.
Comics... Dont know. I dont read them. But since DC has the more iconic gallery I will give that to them.

Classic comics: Marvel
21st century comics: DC has had more consistent quality, but both have had their fair share of blunders.
Animation: DC barely edges out Marvel due to the DCAU and animated movies.
Movies: Marvel
TV: DC

I prefer DC, but there’s no denying that Marvel is the bigger brand at this point.
