Just because it's not Christmastime currently doesn't mean I can't still post Christmas-related things.
I just recently finished Season 1 of the TV series Evil on DVD and this song/video was featured in it as part of an episode involving a tune getting stuck in people's heads and driving them to jam scissors in their ears...so have fun listening!

I LOVE this, and yeah, I got it from the series of EVIL as well. This was a fan-tastic addition to this Christmas thread. Aww, man, this was the best post!!

I’m…simply having a wonderful Christmastime? Well, not exactly, but I hope it’ll lighten the mood!

That “Wonderful Christmastime” reference got me thinking of this age-old, possibly hackneyed, question: What are your favorite Christmas songs? Traditional carols and more modern songs all welcome. My top-10 list, in no particular order, would probably include “We Need a Little Christmas” (Jerry Herman) “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”—but only the original Judy Garland version (Martin and Blane, or maybe just Martin) “Sleigh Ride” (Leroy Anderson, lyrics added later by Mitchell Parish) “O Holy Night” (music by Adolphe Adam, lyrics by John Sullivan Dwight) “The Holly and the Ivy” (traditional) “Here We Come A-Wassailing” (traditional) “The Christmas Waltz” (music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Sammy Cahn) “Winter Wonderland” (music by Felix Bernard, lyrics by Richard Bernhard Smith) “Christmas in Killarney” (John Redmond, James Cavanaugh, and Frank Weldon) “The Christmas Song” (music by Mel Tormé, lyrics by Robert Wells) Notes (inevitably, coming from me)“White Christmas” (Bing’s version, natch) should probably make the list: It’s perhaps the best example of Irving Berlin’s ability to make a song seem simple, and Bing’s version is a classic. And it’s even better with the rarely sung verse (“ The sun is shining, the grass is green”). Ehh, put it as number 11. “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” is gorgeous and heart-wrenching when Judy sings it in Meet Me in St. Louis. The other times she sang it are OK, I guess, but everyone else’s version—certainly every modern, oversung version—is terrible. The same goes, by the way, for Julie Andrews’s “My Favorite Things,” which I don’t consider a Christmas song. Looking all the Bing Crosby songs on this list over, I’m surprised Bing’s favorite lyricist, Johnny Burke (“Pennies from Heaven,” “Moonlight Becomes You,” “Swinging on a Star,” “But Beautiful,” “Personality”), never wrote him a Christmas song. At least not one I know of. What makes that lack of Christmas songs even stranger is that Burke and songwriting partner Jimmy Van Heusen wrote songs for two Christmassy Bing movies! “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” came close to making the list: When sung right, that “if only in my dreams” is devastating, but so often the song is way too oversung. One version I like is cabaret singer Andrea Marcovicci’s, which she pairs with Cole Porter’s “You’d Be So Nice to Come Home To.” And, yes, I definitely did consider “Wonderful Christmastime”—McCartney at his poppiest, maybe, but I just like McCartney.

Few things more Christmassy than a Star, after all.

Few things more Christmassy than the good Mr. Star, after all. Mr. Star knows how to live!

Someday at Christmas by Stevie Wonder is my personal all time favorite Christmas song And I love all what the crooners from back in the day did.
