Reboot it with a recast actor as Kang serving as the main character.

Word is they're looking at Colman Domingo (Fear the Walking Dead) as a replacement Kang.

They are too deep into the narrative to abandon it now, so I think Marvel should start treating the fans like they are adults and recast.

In all honestly they have almost no buildup to a multiverse story payoff anyway
They’ve already killed Kang multiple times. Yes they could do an interesting Kang actually saves them angle or some other worthy payoff but as of right now they could fade the multiverse bit into the background and it wouldn’t seem like anything was missing. Loki season 2 pretty much wraps it up if they want it to.
They could easily get back to street level threats rising in the absense of Avengers and have an ominous collective of those need to be dealt with by a new avengers team inspired by the necessary heroics of the OG team
Thats what I’d do
I said it before they started down this road. The multiverse thing wasn’t as exciting as so many want to think it is. It’s an almost guaranteed mess because it is an almost unavoidably chaotic anything goes platform that becomes a crutch for lack of genuine creativity.

The multiverse thing wasn’t as exciting as so many want to think it is. It’s an almost guaranteed mess because it is an almost unavoidably chaotic anything goes platform that becomes a crutch for lack of genuine creativity. They really could just drop it. General audiences would not care at all. Most people only know Kang from Ant Man. And even that was skipped by a lot of people. I don’t think they should move on completely yet. But I do think it was a ridiculous mistake to devote so much to the idea. They could’ve just done a one off Avengers movie with Kang and some fun multiverse stuff. It never needed to be a big epic build up. It’s far too complex and chaotic an idea to use across so many projects. I defy anyone to make actual sense of it based on all the shows and movies we have seen. There is no coherent mythology or consistent world building. It’s been whatever they need it to be for whatever show or movie they’re currently making. It’s an absolute mess.
