Sony is back in the habit. Good looking trailer. I wouldn't go that far but, 'good looking women in the trailer' me thinks is accurate.

Surprised that I think this looks perfectly...okay. Not mildly interesting like the Kraven trailer or as off-kilter as the Morbius commercials.

Looks totally trash to me. Knock of Spider-Man see's future Spider-Ladies taking his shine on Tik Tok. Must assassinate them in the present.

I think Madame Web may get some traction due to everyone saying it’s the worst movie ever made. That has me more curious than if they’d have said it’s a mediocre comic book flick.

No the 80's and early 90's *I don't see how that is the golden age--today is the period with the most duds and high budget ones with a lot of media attention unlike the 80s-90s.
There weren't that many comic book films or tv shows made at the time either-I think of a golden age as a period where there is a lot of stuff happening.
I.e. "the 1940s was the golden age of the serial."
The golden age of bad superhero movies" implies quantity. That's today!

He's apparently gotten a ton of backlash for this video. I always wondered when this would come to a head for him. The simple truth is that Chris, knowingly or unknowingly, has been trying to have his cake and eat it, too. He's a film critic and a filmmaker. There's an inherent conflict of interest there - especially if he aspires to one day work within the studio system. You can't be a critic who refuses to criticize some films and not others (although I readily concede that you can't review every movie). He openly states that he didn't want to review Madame Web harshly because he was concerned about how it would impact the careers and reputations of the filmmakers involved. I'm not saying he should have jumped on the hate train for Madame Web. Still, he comes off as a self-interested shill when he points the finger solely at the studio, and the producers - who indeed bear most of the blame, but Clarkson is a big girl too - she probably knew what she was getting into. He says we can avoid getting more half-baked films like Madame Web if we withhold our dollars. I agree. His honest opinion of the film what also greatly aid in that objective. He is clearly biased in favor of directors because he is one.

It was a terrible idea from the start. As if they went through a list of trademarks held by Marvel and looked for anything that might remotely be checking off the list of marketing and agenda concerns.
It's not like there was any fan base for this--Ruth Ginsberg had more of a fan base than Madame Web.
"Madame Web was such a big influence on me growing up..."
