The next movie I will be watching is A New Hope. I TiVo’d it and saved it to disc back in 2006. Unfortunately it is not in widescreen and I used medium instead of high quality so I could fit it on one dvd. But my question is did they tinker with the movie a lot since then? Like if I purchased it now to stream it, would it be the exact same version with the same effects as the one recorded in 2006?

However, most of the worst changes occurred before 2006 so you’re fine just getting the recent version. There will be new changes, but not many. Watch out for MACKLUNKEY! You’ll know it when you hear it. 😝
