Dr No
This is going to get interesting after this. We’re hitting the core of the best films in the series.

I'm really suprised QoS is still here. Most fans consider it one of the worst.

I agree. Why aren't we voting for it?! It was my very first vote, in the very first round. I hate it.

I dont think QoS is that bad actually. Its much better than Spectre. Im talking the Craig ones. Its on par with Skyfall. Maybe Casino Royale is better.

I'm really suprised QoS is still here. Most fans consider it one of the worst. It's actually amused me to see QoS outlast other more 'popular' Bond films. It's been sneaky. I agree. Why aren't we voting for it?! It was my very first vote, in the very first round. I hate it. Well, make sure to vote for it in Round 10 if you want it gone. And why has MOONRAKER been eliminated? Do you people have no taste??? Roger Moore Forever!!! Not so much 'no taste' as ' different tastes'. I actually like most of Moore's films (Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only, The Spy Who Loved Me, The Man with the Golden Gun). Well, without AQUA SALZ! here to back me up on what I really want to vote for, I guess I'll have to add my vote to one of the others that have already been voted for. ArArArchStanton , I'll vote for Dr. No as well since I barely remember anything of that movie...well...except for this, of course. As the tally currently stands, it's at: Dr. No - 2 votes The Man with the Golden Gun - 2 votes Quantum of Solace - 1 vote

You Only Live Twice
Has to be said, this is the film where it’s first noticeable Connery wasn’t at the height of Connery
Case can be made for Goldeneye

I'm really suprised QoS is still here. Most fans consider it one of the worst. Its actually one of my favorites. I still have no idea why it’s considered one of the worst. It’s got some of the best character moments in the series.

It was my very first vote, in the very first round. I hate it. I would've voted it off very early on but I am strategically voting for the Moores and Daltons to protect the Connerys. Ahhh the Connery bias rears it’s ugly head ;-) I knew there was something wrong when Licence to Kill went out early. I move to reinstate if!

I actually watched Diamonds Are Forever last night and though it's the weakest of the official Connerys, if I'm being honest I still throughly enjoy it and would watch it over the Moores, Daltons, Brosnan's, Lasenby movies any day.

Wow. My fault and my apologies; I would have voted for Golden Gun to save Dr. No. In my defense, extremely stressful day.

Also, in sticking up for YOLT, I have always loved the metaphorical plot of Bond dying (in the prologue), going to pergatory, being reborn (strangely as a Japanese man) and then confronting the devil in hell (an actual volcano). It's makes for a surreal, if not silly, take on the classic formula.

Dislike GoldenEye much more, but voting for You Only Live Twice. But... But... It's got a volcano lair! Those Ken Adam sets make everything better! I like YOLT much more than GoldenEye and Skyfall, and think it’s better paced than Thunderball or OHMSS. Alas, none of those is likely to go...

It's makes for a surreal, if not silly, take on the classic formula. You may be persuading me to vote for something else... Agreed with all your positives, but the negatives for me are an uninterested Connery, an overload of gadgets and silly, that dull flying machine sequence with music blasting to make it seem better, and Donald Pleasence’s disappointing Blofeld. So, going back and forth here, though I should give the movie another try: it’s the Connery I’ve seen least.
