He’s desperately trying to prevent a Nuke from going off but the government is trying to stop him so he has to blend in. The context works for me and the scene is actually pretty damn intense and not as silly as “Bond dressed as a clown” might sound

He used to think his life was a tragedy, then he realized it's a spy movie!
Why so shaken not stirred?
Let's put some form of iconic scar on that face or maybe, replace your hands or give you metal teeth!

Round 3 is now closed. Casino Royale - 1 vote Spectre - 1 vote Diamonds Are Forever - 3 votes Live and Let Die - 2 votes And with President Ackbar's vote, the tie is broken. Diamonds may be forever...but like Mr. Wint (and his balls), the film itself is not. Round 4 begins.........................now. Dr. No (1962) From Russia with Love (1963) Goldfinger (1964) Thunderball (1965) You Only Live Twice (1967) On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) Live and Let Die (1973) The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) Moonraker (1979) For Your Eyes Only (1981) Octopussy (1983) A View to a Kill (1985) The Living Daylights (1987) Licence to Kill (1989) GoldenEye (1995) Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) The World Is Not Enough (1999) Casino Royale (2006) Quantum of Solace (2008) Skyfall (2012) Spectre (2015) Clown Bond is definately a minus. However, it also features an octopus. And that's a plus! 🐙 The opening credits sequence for Spectre (2015) features plenty of octopi (and writhing naked inky octopus ladies...if you're into that sort of thing).

For tactical reasons, changing my vote to Diamonds Are Forever. I don’t really like Live and Let Die (but read the book! It’s great!), but the New Orleans funeral murder is one of my favorite Bond movie moments ever.

Now that we're into Round 4, was there another movie you wanted to vote for (since Diamonds Are Forever is already gone)?

A View To A Kill
People are on the right track with Live & Let Die here but as many times as I’ve seen these, AVTAK is the one I find least interesting and particularly small looking after great Moore films like TSWLM and FYEO. It’s also not much more than a recycled Goldfinger plot

For some reason I didn’t see the post closing the round. Mea culpa. Umm... Spectre again—tentatively, as I really do want to save some of the sillier Moores (Moonraker’s pretty good, at least pre-space!).

Diamonds Are Forever is already gone. Did you wish to vote for another film, weirdraptor? I myself am voting for A View to a Kill, which brings the current tally to: You Only Live Twice (1967) - 1 vote Live and Let Die (1973) - 1 vote A View to a Kill (1985) - 3 votes Spectre (2015) - 1 vote 3/4 of an hour to go before Round 4 closes.

Plus it’s a fun watch through. I usually watch at least a few Connerys and Craigs every year. It's been years since I've seen the others though. I should rewatch a few Moores to see if my opinion has changed.

Round 4 is now closed. You Only Live Twice (1967) - 1 vote Live and Let Die (1973) - 1 vote A View to a Kill (1985) - 4 votes Spectre (2015) - 1 vote Even from its vantage point, A View to a Kill couldn't see this 'kill' coming. To be clear, A View to a Kill has been ELIMINATED. Now Round 5 begins. Dr. No (1962) From Russia with Love (1963) Goldfinger (1964) Thunderball (1965) You Only Live Twice (1967) On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) Live and Let Die (1973) The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) Moonraker (1979) For Your Eyes Only (1981) Octopussy (1983) The Living Daylights (1987) Licence to Kill (1989) GoldenEye (1995) Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) The World Is Not Enough (1999) Casino Royale (2006) Quantum of Solace (2008) Skyfall (2012) Spectre (2015)

Starting to get tough
SPECTRE for now, because it really didn’t define itself. Of course Live & Let Die has a famous 15 minute boat chase where the entire movie comes to a halt, and you forget there was even a movie going on. All that matters is the damn boat chase Lolol.

I wanna vote for this, but it has that one AMAZING line where Bond is mounting the girl as his space capsule enters the atmosphere, M says "what's Bond doing" and Q replies "I think he's attempting re-entry, sir" I'm chuckling just thinking about it. 😂😂😂😂😂
