I'd really like an X-Men expansion pack for this game. j/s They should make an X-Men game but I guess we have to wait until a movie now A friend once mentioned they should do a Thor game re the Nine Realms. I know ArArArchStanton would be excited

I know ArArArchStanton would be excited 25 year old me would love this! Gaming now is a passive interest to me. I do it but usually fun simple games or ones that aren’t too long. I’ve got a pile like Watchdogs 2 and Elder Scrolls online that I played some side missions a lot and got bored with the rest of it. Red Dead was awesome though

I played this game last year...really enjoyed some of the combat and it looked great. Biggest problem to me was a lack of notable and fun villains. I am not a Modok fan. I could never get past his appearance. I wish i could but...so the fact that he is the most notable villain among a cast of duds really made the battles faceless to me. A lot like most of the big battles from the Avengers movies now that i think about it lol. Anyway the groundwork was promising I would just like a more thrilling story next time. Ms. Marvel aka Ms. Fantastic was a lot of fun too.
It wouldve probably helped had any of my friends gotten it and we couldve played together. Like most of these 'looter shooter' style games, to me, they're far more fun with other people.

I agree with your take regarding the villains, although MODOK is a personal favorite for me. I don't mind grinding like a lot of players do, but Avengers is a bit much in that department as well. Otherwise, I had a lot fun with it. Hope they bring in a new top tier villain soon because the folks I've conned into investing time in this game are nearly ready to bail. Spider-Man might buy them a little more time, but that's what the Spider-man game is for…

I had to start over when I moved to PC because of some glitch; support was apologetic but not very helpful. That really killed my momentum. I'm hoping to get back into it full force next year.

Theres a lot more variety of game on pc and my brother recently made the switch so ill at least know one person. I can't go cold turkey on console tho because most of my friends are there.

I hear you… It was a long and difficult transition to go from console-only to join the PCMR. I had a lot of false starts, but with the help of a master builder, I finally saved up and put together a dream rig last year. In hindsight, it was a bitch acclimating to the steep learning curve around parts compatibility and drivers, but it was well worth it in the end. I got the PS5, too, just in case I couldn't handle dealing with the tech stuff on the PC. I ended up leaving it in the box for a month and then flipped it for more powerful PC parts. My box cuts through triple AAA titles like a hot knife through butter, and I can upgrade it with a bit of cash and some thermal paste anytime I want. The flexibility is liberating, as is the freedom from all of the platform exclusivity.

The gameplay was fun but the story lacked a real standout villain and the loot never changed appearance. It got stale for me kind of fast.

Here's hoping thr next time someone makes a Avengers game, they use this game as an example of what not to do.
