Chalice_Of_Evil yeah that was a disgrace, the three were done like that. No Sif either... Also somehow Heimdall was Thor's best friend? Did anyone get that vibe lol? At first I thought it was one of the warriors three he was referring to when he said his best friend died in Infinity War. I only got the impression that Heimdall was more of a mentor and maybe asked by Odin to watch over him what did everyone else think of Sif, warriors three and Heimdall re these situations? Grandmaster AQUA JAR!™ @raimiackbar AQUA KEN! ArArArchStanton @weirdraptor Lord Death Man or anyone else? I really really really want Sif back. Actually loved the deaths of the Warriors 3. You needed them to die fast and without mercy to show how ruthless Hela was. If anybody watched wrestling, think back to any time they introduced a new complete bad ass. He would come in and destroy an upper mid career like it was nothing. It made Hela look awesome so I think a lot of people who think they were done dirty are looking at this the wrong way. Heimdal in TDW had a visibly close relationship with Thor. He trusted Thor enough to follow him so yeah I’d buy that as a best friend situation. It just wouldve been better imo if there was a brief flashback with Thor and the three

Chris Hemsworth Says He'll Be Staying On As Thor In The MCU Following LOVE AND THUNDER link Ive been thinking it was curious that there was an assumption this was his last film. I never jumped on the “hes passing the mantle to Jane” idea. I feel like that’s going to be more of a one off.

"Are you crazy ?! I'm not going into any retirement period (laughs). Thor is way too young for that. I'm only 1500 years old! It is definitely not a film that I say goodbye to this brand. At least I hope so."
"After reading the script, I can say that I am very excited. For sure there will be a lot of love and a lot of lightning in this production (laughs). I'm glad that after all that happened in Avengers: Endgame, I'm still part of the Marvel Universe and we can continue the story of Thor. Of course, I can't tell you anything about the plot, but to satisfy your curiosity, I'll say that I had a lot more fun reading the script than on Thor Ragnarok, and that proves something, because this movie was brilliant."

Glad we're not saying goodbye to the whole of the OG Avengers just yet.

I'd love to see more of Thor. Just so long as they keep him interesting. I trust they'll know when to say goodbye. They ended Cap and Stark's respective runs at the right time. Thor has more to explore in him, I think. Avengers 5 is where I bet they end it for him though.

So who will be the leader of the Avengers? This is a tough one. I would've assumed T'Challa, but well, tragedy has sadly ruined that possibility. Captain Marvel has a lot of uncertainty in her future. She's not their most popular character. Spiderman is no longer a long term option. I guess it could be Dr Strange? I'd be cool with that.

Yeah, but enough to become the lead Avenger? And even so, I don't think she's earned that right yet. I think if that happens it's likely more about Marvel trying to be "hashtag woke" than picking the new leader organically.

Captain America wasn't what you're consider popular enough to be the leader of The Avengers when he became the leader of The Avengers way back in the first "Avengers". And many people thought he was too lame to be the leader when we had Ironman back then, making his position unearned in the eyes of many people before he proved them wrong. How about we give the girl a chance before we write her off.

I have confidence that they'll try to give her the creative overhaul that the Russos gave the Cap series in TWS.

She has nothing more to prove to me.

No confirmation yet on Frog Thor. I think he’ll be in it though. Everyone loves Thor and everyone loves frogs. It’s a win win.

Does anyone know if the original plan was to have Thor as a main cast member in GotG 3 before it was delayed? Or was End Game rewritten to set up Thor 4? I have never heard a clear answer to this.
