Now we have a threeway tie... I do like being tied up in a threeway btw.... whole other story.... If we do end up with a three-way tie, I think I’d prefer doing a tiebreaker round rather than eliminating all three movies right off the bat. @raimiackbar, Grandmaster, charzhino,@cheetahcandy, AQUA KEN!,@weirdraptor, Nightman, AQUA JAMES!, Chalice_Of_Evil, taylorfirst1, AQUA JAR!™, also, you are all welcome to change your vote (to break the tie or for any other reason) before the 3:30 deadline. I wont change my vote so two of my favorite MCU movies get crossed off. 👽

Actually I think ties should be decided by a dance off. Yep enough time has passed for this remark to be funny and not painful. Innit @weirdraptor? @raimiackbar? AQUA KEN! ?

@raimiackbar , Grandmaster , charzhino ,@cheetahcandy , AQUA KEN! ,@weirdraptor , Nightman , ArArArchStanton , AQUA JAMES! , Chalice_Of_Evil , taylorfirst1 , AQUA JAR!™ In an example of my poor timing, I just realized that I may not be able to close off the round tomorrow and know I won’t be able to from Saturday to Wednesday. Anyone want to be host for a few days? Basically just decide the period for which the round is open. And my vote is for Black Panther. (I found it almost unbearably boring.)

Spider-Man: Homecoming (which'll continue being what I vote for until that movie is gone). I'm curious why it's your least favorite. I'm not a big fan of it either btw. I'm actually currently deciding where it should place on my Marvel ranking list. Well, for starters...there were only TWO moments in the whole film that I even liked. One was the cat rescue. The other was the ending. {Spoiler} The only character who I found mildly interesting was Michael Keaton's Vulture (and that was mainly because...well...he's Michael Keaton and pretty much left every other actor in the dust). Everything else ensured I was hate-watching this film the whole way through. A summary of the film's 'negatives' for me: I am not a fan of Tom Holland's Peter Parker/Spider-Man. I'll take Andrew Garfield's interpretation of the character (and his two TASM films) over the Tom Holland version any day. Hell, I think I even prefer Tobey Maguire to Tom Holland (and I'm not a fan of the Raimi films). I've already made my feelings regarding Tony Stark/Iron Man clear in other threads, so no need to repeat them here. Suffice to say his presence was another 'negative' of the film for me. I found none of the other characters likable and/or interesting. The worst offender, however, had to be the character of Michelle. I feel like I'm the only one who could see how utterly horrid her personality was (as it seems like everyone else thought she was GREAT). I can't recall a single thing that came out of her mouth which wasn't something negative or a put-down towards Peter. Seriously, the character of Flash was supposed to be the 'bully' in this film, but Michelle hurled just as many insults/negative comments Peter's way as Flash did. The final straw was at the prom, when Peter sent her a friendly wave...and what was her response? To give him the finger. What's worse is that clearly she was being presented as being 'funny' with her bad attitude towards everyone, but I failed to see the 'funny' in her behaviour. Just imagine if a guy had treated a girl the way she treated Peter. I also couldn't understand what Peter saw in her or why he was drawn to her (utterly repellent) personality. It was like watching a character who gets abused and just keeps going back for more. Meanwhile, Peter's other potential love interest (Liz) was actually nice to Peter/a decent human being. I would've had no problem with her turning out to be 'MJ' at the end. Sadly, that's not what happened. It takes a lot for one character to turn me off a film (or in this case, a franchise), but Michelle managed exactly that. I haven't seen Spider-Man: Far From Home and won't until it's on TV here and I record it to watch. I'm hoping in the sequel she'll receive a personality transplant...but I somehow doubt it. There are other 'popular' MCU films that I don't like (the GotG films, Thor: Ragnarok - which I'll be voting for once SMH is gone), and I can only find one or two things in them that I don't completely hate (with GotG it's Nebula, with its sequel it's Nebula and Mantis and with TR it's Cate Blanchett as Hela). With SMH, it's a case of me barely being able to find anything that I 'liked' about it, and so that's why it is at the bottom of my list and the one I voted for first.

I can agree with most of that (except for the part about not liking Raimi's movies! 😉 ). Homecoming has grown on me somewhat over repeat viewings, but Far From Home only gets worse on rewatches- for me anyway. I don't reccomend it. It adds a bit of vulnerability to MJ so she's a lot more likable... But still has that annoying cynical Gen-Z personality.

While my feelings on SMH were largely positive (mostly because of the plot twist and Keaton), I completely agree with most of your points—especially regarding the Michelle love interest character, who just comes off as annoying to me. I too far preferred Spidey’s first girlfriend and was disappointed when the writers wrote her out at the end.
