Nah Im still worried and will tap out if they go too far. Untill now its just the timeline that was broken. It all depends what they are going to do with it. Hell I even expressed my concern on the review last sunday. Didnt you guys watch that? I would be very disapointed if you didnt.
And with tapping out I mean give up my admin rights here and deleting my account to never return to the fandom. And you can quote me on that.

As a cameo, that sounds like an appropriate way to pay homage to the Fox years. I just don't want to see them become a part of the main continuity via the multiverse. I like the multiverse as a concept, but it shouldn't be use to introduce characters from other continuities into the MCU. This is where I stand. There are some interesting ideas to play around with. But I still contend that it can’t just be a magic hat to bring in anything you want. They can have a handful of exceptions to that, but if the entire thing just turns into an anything can happen any time affair, it would lose a lot of weight. And I don’t think they’ll do that. To be extra crispy clear, they could bring in a new character from the Multiverse like America Chavez. She, like Kang, is a new character who originates from the Multiverse. I don't want the Multiverse to be a free-for-all to bring in characters/actors from the deadbeat Sony and Fox continuities that haven't carried their Marvel weight in years. The Multiverse is a cool concept. Anyone who disagrees should take a powder for this phase. Morbius, Kraven and Spider-Woman will probably be a lot of fun!

You guys will watch it and you’ll love it. Don’t resist the multiverse, Archie. The multiverse will set us free! I am fully confident they’ll do it right, so I am on board, but there is a way to do it wrong. So I’m not resisting their effort, I’m just saying the potential use of it to avoid continuity until the day you feel like bringing them through a portal so you can smash all the toys together, is less interesting as a primary use of it. There are are however very interesting and creative ways to use it. Loki has been a great example of how to max it out. Love that type of multiverse concept.

Still waiting to see how exactly they approach the Sony stuff.

I’m not sure exactly what you guys are so worried about. The multiverse stuff in Loki was wacky AF so if you loved that I honestly think you’re good to go from here on out. Multiverse in the MCU doesn’t mean that Marvel is going to suddenly crossover with James Bond and Planet of the Apes or who knows what else. The original X Men cast is also very unlikely to show up. And Feige won’t touch that Morbius or Venom shit- guaranteed. But… if Tobey Macguire being in the MCU is what you guys are scared of I got some bad news for you… But, worse case scenario you could just skip the next Spider-Man? Maybe Dr Strange too? No need to leave the fandom forever.

Im going to laugh my ass off if they aren’t doing that, or even if it’s way different than what people keep thinking it is. Everybody is so convinced it just has that “nope” feeling about it. But that said the way they did Loki has me super open to it. So I’m not against it. I’m actually excited for it now, but I’m going to urge a huge helping of “I told everybody it wasn’t Foxverse quicksilver” on this one. They were convinced about that too

He could just be having fun with how ridiculous the speculation is. I would be if I had nothing to do with the film. The point being, I’m not saying hes not in it or that it shouldn’t happen, but I do think people are getting way too comfortable with an idea they don’t actually know much about. There could be something entirely different going on here and we just saw this happen with quicksilver. Remember how convinced certain people were? They could not be talked out of it. I had people telling me there was no way it couldn’t be a Fox crossover. I urged caution then and I’m urging it now. We can count chickens later

We can count chickens later Agreed, I'm not convinced that this is a full-on spider-verse movie either. I'll eat the crow if I'm wrong, but assembling the Sinister Six from across the multiverse is a big ask. And, Electro and Doc Ock are a long way from six villains. Spider-Man: No Way Home is is allegedly also supposed to include Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin, Rhys Ifans' The Lizard, Thomas Hayden Church's Sandman, and possibly Paul Giamatti's Rhino from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. If you throw in two Spider-Men plus Doctor Strange - that's a mighty tall order for Watts, who only recently graduated to blockbuster status. Matt Murdoch is also supposed to show up as well. If they go this big on the multiverse in No Way Home, what in Agamotto's name will the Multiverse of Madness look like? Has anyone considered the idea that they could use No Way Home to remove Peter from the MCU? Could the film place Holland into the Sonyverse (which is conspicuously missing a Spider-Man)?

I suppose it’s still possible that despite all of the leaks, the confirmations from Molina and Fox, as well as Feige’s indirect confrontation in the form of expressing his disappointment in Molina’s confirmation, that this is in fact not a Spiderverse movie. If that is indeed the case then Marvel would’ve done well to directly squash the rumors months ago because the internet hype for this thing is huge. (No, not just from me. Spider-Man has been “trending” on the twit mobile for months because of this). And disappointment will be intense if it’s all fake.
That said, it’s almost certainly happening. And it’s genuinely sad to see so much frustration and angst about such an awesome project. Hope at least some of you come around to embracing it. It’s gonna be totally WIZARD.

And Im a person that when he loses interest its reduced to zero. And rumors be damned, the trades have confirmed nothing. Its all internet speculation from not reliable sources. I hope they are right for them because the backlash will be enormous. And me? They can do without me. And I have enough other things in my life to keep me busy. I dont need the MCU per se.

I kind of get where you are coming from, although this is certainly not a make or break for me. I'll likely be disappointed if No Way Home turns out to be some elaborate homage to past franchises. Once they integrate previous iterations of Marvel franchises into the MCU, the flood gates will open, and any and all nonsense will become possible. All it will take is a harsh deadline and a lazy writer to get some non-organic, fast-forward character development via a multiverse incursion. That said, the multiverse is likely to be a fad in comic movies, just like "questing" for the McGuffin(s). Once someone unearths the new comic book trope, the multiverse will likely fade from memory. We're likely to see DC and Marvel compete on the same concepts right up until the end of the comic book movie wave.

I know this discussion is dead or dying but, I wanted to go on record.
I think Marvel handled their multiverse introduction exceptionally well in Loki. As portrayed in the MCU, the concept comes as a natural outgrowth (or consequence) of time travel. Time travel has been explored in Doctor Strange, Infinity War, and Endgame.
The progression from time travel to multiple universes feels organic to me and not rushed.
Loki took a fairly high-concept idea that is usually the providence of nerds and made it frictionless for casuals.
The Loki we follow in the series has a substantial character arc, and his female counterpart is at least dynamic if not equally as fully realized.
Kang's introduction is just that, so I'm not really sure how much more fleshed out that could be, but Majors make the absolute most of not-a-truck-load of screen time.
Let's contrast all this with the upcoming Flash movie for a second. Granted, I have not seen it yet, but based on the rumors, we will be introduced to time travel, the multiverse, and alternate versions of several popular characters for the very first time in the DCEU in a two-hour timeframe. And, Flashpoint is also supposed to reset the timeline - by some accounts. Sight unseen, the movies is an elaborate band-aid for a problem that's past fixing...
I think the only thing you can really fault Marvel on in this phase is their propensity towards strange resurrections - but, if you've ever read a comic book...
