Well, my place is still shut down and has been extended to the 27th Dec (meant to be opened tomorrow but the govt held its melt stick up high-this melt stick thing is really useful huh? ). Luckily it's part of a larger company and there are other venues where I may be working at as I put my hand up #Goawaycovid

Surprisingly well for someone who almost got bored to death by George Clooney's latest movie.

Yesterday we went into lockdown where I am and wearing masks in public is now mandatory/carries a hefty fine if you're caught not wearing one - hence why my Peggy Carter avatar now looks like she's going to knock over a bank.

Yeah I wear a mask to work now. It's 'mandatory' to wear on public transport too. Supermarkets too Im actually surprised Australians are taking this pretty seriously

That we're not serious here in Australia? Lockdown ended today (yes, already)...so I can finally take my mask off. I can now walk the dog and drive the car without it on, but obviously if out in public and around groups of people (like in shopping centres, etc), wearing a mask is still required.

My sister s doing fine. She had a mild case of Covid so far. If on Thursday she is without symptoms for 24 hours she can go out of quarantine.
My father is in the hospital now to get a small check on his bladder. They spotted something during his last cancer check and they want to make sure its not that. He does have an infection there.
And on other news... I bought Mrs. Grandmaster a heart shaped cake to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary.
So if I am a bit absent in recent days... I have a few things going on requiring my attention.
UPDATE: My father's operation went well. They did not see cancer but they did take a piece of tissue from the tube between kidney and bladder to see what it is. He is staying in the hospital for the night but tomorrow he can go home.

My dog has been in the hospital for 72 hours because of internal bleeding. He's had XRays, bloodwork, and today he's scheduled for an ultrasound. I still haven't heard back from the vet and half the afternoon is almost gone, and I still don't know what's going on, how he is, what they found, and I haven't been sleeping.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Lilith. I fret over my dog all the time and he's perfectly okay, so I can't even imagine how hard it must be for you not knowing how your puppy is doing. I hope he ends up being okay.
