Perfect fit. The shameless money counting for the profit from advertising it. Better than their Pringles ad.

The official trailer has been released for “Mass Effect: Legendary Edition,” Bioware’s 4K remastering of one of the most acclaimed sci-fi video game series of all time. This is a remaster, not a remake, so the visual upgrade is mostly in terms of resolution with 4K HDR in mind – textures, shaders, character models and lighting have also been revamped or improved. That includes smoother frame rates and 21:9 support, and while there’s no raytracing there are tricks used that “push the technology’s limits somewhat”.
There’s also been quality of life improvements, especially with the first game including a modernized combat HUD more akin to the sequels, some much-needed Mako adjustments, and controller support on PC at last.
Then there are faster elevators (with optional skip), aim assist, bug fixes and more varied and unique options with the universal character creator. The aim is both for more consistency across the trilogy and a smoother entry for newcomers – including a unified launcher over the three games.
The ‘Legendary Edition’ will include over 40 DLC packs from across the trilogy, with the ‘extended cut’ of ME3 being the one used, but there won’t be any multiplayer.
The remastered trilogy will be available on May 14th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, with forward compatibility on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
