Another report suggests the runtime is just 100 minutes.

Guardians of The Borderlands? Thank James Gunn. I find it hard to see Kevin Hart not as Kevin Hart, even tho he doesn’t really appear to be doing his usual schtick in the trailer. Overall looks pretty good. I feel like I’ll like Jaime’s character a lot. Jack Black is perfect as Claptrap. Looking forward to Krieg. Kinda nervous I didn’t see Lilith using her powers tho. The sirens are an important cornerstone of the Borderlands world and Lilith is arguably the strongest of them.

Agreed, this looks like it will be a lot of fun, but I couldn't help but notice how this movie leans heavily on Gunn's toilet humor, misfit character archetypes, and preference for oldies.

Guardians of The Borderlands? Thank James Gunn. Pretty much what I expected it to be. Shit and piss jokes a bit of a surprise.

To be honest the "humor" in the Borderlands games is pretty much similar. In Borderlands 2 it's made worst because the writer Anthony Burch would used popular internet memes at the time as a placeholder for the games wacky nature.
What I'm going to be curious is if anyone will find anything woke about the movie because that's going to be funny considered how woke the games were for their time.

Yeah, it looks very derivative and predictable, but that doesn't mean it won't be entertaining. I can't believe someone thought Kevin Hart would be a great Rick Flag proxy. Who knows what Blanchett's team said to get her in this… There's a balloon mortgage payment due on the ranch?
