New game!
Basically, this game is that the host posts a series of words or phrase—and the players have to figure out the connection. For example, if the host posts “Washington, Adams, Jefferson,” the connection is that they’re the first three American presidents. But there will be a reason the list has specific names. Say the host posts “Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Harrison, Wilson.” Well, they’re all U.S. presidents, but more specifically they’re all presidents born in Virginia. Definitely ask if you have any questions.
The new host can be the first person to solve the last puzzle.
OK, so to start off: Figure out the connection among—and the reason for the order of—the following words:
Moon
Mars
Mercury
Jupiter
Venus
Sabbath
Lord

Yes indeedy. But why that order specifically? That is the chronological order, correct Professor Slazmark? Mon-Sun?

Yes indeedy. But why that order specifically? That is the chronological order, correct Professor Slazmark? Mon-Sun? More or less. (In retrospect, “Sabbath” was a dead giveaway.) It’s the week order in Romance languages, which begin with Monday rather than with Sunday. Each word on the list is what a day is named after in almost every contemporary Romance language (except, according to Wikipedia, Portuguese and Mirandese). AQUA JAR!™, as you solved this one you’re welcome to start your a round of your own!

In the English language’s days of the week, the sixth spot is Saturday/Saturn—that Roman interloper in our Germanic days! And it was that way in Latin as well ( dies Saturni). But in contemporary Romance languages Saturday got renamed after the Sabbath, probably because it’s the Sabbath in Judaism, and Sunday got renamed “the Lord’s day.” Thus sábado in Spanish, samedi in French, sabato in Italian, etc., for Saturday.

Ah! Right you are! I remember learning this now in Spanish class. Domingo (Sunday) means Lord.
