Spike Lee that is... Not hating this idea. A Spike Lee-Led X-Men Film Would Be Perfect For the MCUSpike Lee expressed interest in one day directing a film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While he's not actively seeking a Marvel directorial role, if the right film comes along, he could do a really good job with it. Fans will naturally speculate what film Lee would be best suited for, and given his cinematic lens, Lee might be the best choice for the MCU's try at X-Men.

Neat. I've have to see it to believe it but he's got the chops. Spike Lee's the best when it's his story done the way he wants it. It's been said about him before and I agree: Spike Lee does movies like he's never going to get the chance again. The films he's most serious about are guaranteed to be packed. The Spike Lee joints.
I don't love the X-Men movies unconditionally but the X-Men themselves remain my favorite backdrop for social issues like race/racism, liberal/conservatism, intolerance/compassion, pride/self-loathing, conversion therapy, peace/war. The cartoon got me good early on in life. Maybe too good.
I really have difficulty seeing him do it, but I will 100% show up the moment there's a product to see.

Sure why not? X-Men would be the best option given his propensity for politics

It's actually not a bad pick.
That or Luke Cage which I know is a fan favorite pick.

This would actually be a very appropriate choice. He’s into commentary pieces, he’s got pizazz, he’s got cache. I’d very much approve.

i agree. My fear all along was that marvel would jump on the racial justice bandwagon. That would be a franchise destroyer
