One week down, and if the shortened isolation time is accurate, I'm three days away from either getting very, very sick or being a free man again. You may still want to be cautious, even after that 3 day period. Just in case. Give yourself some extra wriggle room, and still be vigilant. I'd have just left it at a full two weeks if it were up to me, as a precaution. Yeah, while I will be going back to work if I don't come down with the symptoms in the next three days, I will continue to be cautious.

You've all probably noticed it. Well, it's not you. Don't think that for a moment. I should have come clean with this before, but didn't for two reasons. I honestly didn't want to talk about it, and I didn't want to worry anyone before I know if I'm going to test positive, and yes, I know you're all focusing in on the words "testing positive" at this point. Well, I can confirm this is heading exactly where you think it is. The day before yesterday, my mom got her hair done at a local barber shop. Yesterday, we got a call from mom's barber and found out her husband tested positive for COVID-19. This woman had done my mother's hair. And I picked my mother up from that shop. We are now both in quarantine waiting to see if we caught it. A whole year of successfully dodging the virus just to get it thanks to mom's hair "needs". Just as I was getting more hours at work, too. Writing it out to my friends a little earlier today made me realize I wasn't just worried and stressed yesterday: I was already livid. This doesn't excuse how I treated DarthAkcbar on the Snyder Cut topic yesterday. It doesn't change the fact I was a huge jerk last night. I'm confessing now because I realize just sitting here feeling for myself instead of reaching out just poisoned the pond around here. I wish you great health! I’m sorry came up for you.

Day 9: got a small scare when I woke up with a sore throat and a lot more mucus than usual. It cleared before even early afternoon, so of course it's just the usual year-round allergies. Nothing a bit of Suafed and Deterra Peppermint didn't clear up.

Nothing a bit of Suafed and Deterra Peppermint didn't clear up. Yeah that's the thing about this. We all keep second guessing ourselves every time we get a sneeze or cough or something. They say that more testing is better. But I am not a big believer in everybody running out to get tested every time they get the sniffles. To me that makes it more difficult for the other people who know for a fact they were exposed in addition to having real symptoms to get tested because of the backups and waiting time with large amounts of people. But in your case you really were exposed so that'd be totally understandable

I remember first reading what the symptoms for COVID-19 were and going, "Aw, man! Crap! So basically it feels exactly like one of my sinus infections, but with the addtion of diarhea?!" Some of my sinus infections can be downright debilitating and I can end up lying in bed for hours in that limbo somewhere between consciousness and sleep. Somehow, I didn't get any in 2020, and believe me, my blood-pressure is all the better for it. The only COVID tests I've taken are the usua "Check your temperature before you clock in at work" ones. The one where they shove something up your nose terrifies me.

So, back to work for the first time nearly two weeks, so of course the day goes bad. I arrive, and get told I'm working in the in-store resturant for some Godforsaken reason for the day. Oh, yes, my favorite. My nightmare job from when I first started out here. Goodie. I arrive to find half our cooking equipment is on the fritz. So began a battle of constantly tinkering with the damn things, making constant adjustments, having food cook a lot slower than normal, so... My entire day at work summed up in a single image.

While hilarious to everyone else, very embarrassing for me. So I will just say I am glad you all are OK ❤
