Snyder loves Frank Miller's material; 300, The Dark Knight Returns, and now Elektra Lives Again. Stylistically, it's not a bad pairing, but I wish the guy weren't such a dabbler. For Elektra to "Live Again," she would have had to be alive and established in the first place.

I wouldnt mind if Snyder comes to the MCU. But he will need to be controlled when it comes to writing and editing.

And if you control him one little bit, even if he wanted to do the most ridiculously stupid thing you can imagine and they didn’t let him, oh my fk I can hear it now

Also for the love of God, a limit on the number of slow motion scenes I found this factor to be truly unbearable in made for 3d films. Not just has 3d, but the made for 3d factor somehow makes everyone think a slow motion object flying at the screen for a near dodge equates to good story telling. There was a Resident Evil film that padded 30 minutes of run time on that absolute garbage maneuver. This may be fine in 3d viewing, but it becomes transparently bad directing when watching it in 2d.
