Can we post spoilers here? Just in case,,, {Spoiler} I’m loving season 7
The time description seems to favor the possibility of the “Cap stayed in the same timeline” interpretation also. Deke has a quote that goes something like “if you throw two sticks into a river, the water still gets where it’s going, but if you throw too many you many you form a dam”. That perfectly sums up how Cap could have stayed and why he wouldn’t have gotten involved again if he had any intention of meeting his friends again while “trimming all the branches”.
BUTTTTT, they are leaving some options open here. Some of the team seam to think they could assassinate former leaders of Hydra, and that this would change the future, but it’s not clear if this would change our future or simply create an alternate timeline.
I absolutely love that this started off being about the super soldier serum and the Red Skull however. BOOOOOOOM.

Great episode. 8/10. Coulson shouldnt really be back again but he's such a great character and actor so I dont care. If a character dies, they shouldnt be brought back twice in different versions. In Arrow this reminds me of {Spoiler} Merlyn IDK, I’m perfectly fine with any variants, especially when they use the fact that they are different. If they treated him as though he were the same, then I might agree, but the fact that he died matters. And it mattered last season too.

So it’s been a few days and I’m shocked nobody is talking about this.
Damn episode 3 was killer. Daniel shows up in a cool way and I loved Jenna impersonating Peggy. Brilliant.
Also I’m sure we all caught this, but this goes out to all you Peggy was happy with Sousa and Steve f’d it up people out there. NAA-AAA. I am happy to confirm that they were identified as former partners and by all appearances had no ongoing relationship. I applaud this little factoid they gave us, go get you some Steveo
Next, the mysterious, whaaaaaaaaa. Where is Fitz and what’s he’s planning, what is going on with May, what is going on with YoYo, whats up with LMD Coulson rebooting, are they really teasing that Quake will change the timeline, are they really teasing that Deke is going to have to kill, where is Enoch now, what times are they going to next, and for what events?
There is so much craziness happening and it’s awesome.
A few small predictions. They’ll get involved in the space race, we’ll have a disco episode, a hippie episode, and if there is anything related to JFKs assassination I predict Deke has to kill him ;-)

Latest 2 eps were great, watched them back-to-back. First one was a punch in the feels. Second was so much fun lol the 80s, it really really was a blast! Deke jesus h christ, was not expecting that at all and neither did Mack haha. Everyone will love this episode. Mack and the headgear. References to scifi shows and a classic movie I love

I just watched the episode that featured this^. It's good to see the different era-appropriate openings for the show. Is it too much to hope for that we get a Buffy the Vampire Slayer-style opening credits sequence should they end up time-travelling to the 90's?

DONT POST LEAKS pretty please
My big question is WTF is up with Fitz? So we’ve gotten hints that something terribly upsetting happened but we’ve always been led to believe it was just that Simmons was upset at having been separated from and not knowing where Fitz was.
They’ve kept mentioning time. Jemma early on hunted that they’d worked on the machine for a long time (even though she seems just as youthful so IDK), and last episode the flashbacks reaffirmed that they could take their time building it. Fitz even tried to talk Jemma into taking their time.
Enoch was there too and they programmed him to kill anybody who revealed the truth about whatever happened. Soooooooo, what the hell could that be?
Jemma is crying like Fitz died, but how would him dying be relevant to the plot about the chronicoms? Did he have to die for it to work for some reason? I want to say he got snapped but then that wouldn’t have been part of a plan either. I really don’t know.
Also, they seem clear that they’re restoring the timeline. How do they do that? And do characters like Sousa stay with them. It sure seems like he will.

Since it's their last mission together like Enoch said and weve seen the Shield bases destroyed, I think they are going to rebuild and lead shield internationally and as a result have to be split up ie last time together

Especially after Coulson clearly said that’s what they had to do. But IDK. Something crazy is about to go down

Something crazy is about to go down I guess I missed that. When did he say that? There was a back and forth last episode mostly with Kora about how they need to put the timeline back on track. When she shot the guy who can make knives she even said that would help. She was mocking the idea but I think Coulson is serious. I have no idea how they’re getting back or what happened to Fitz but I feel like they’ll trap the chronicoms there and remove the line OH WAIT!!! Maybe Simmons has to stay in that line to get everybody back and they’ll lose each other forever.

At that point where Enoch, Simmons and Fitz were present and the couple wanted some time to talk. I miss Fitz in this season. I wonder if it's just the writing? Could it be budget or scheduling issues?

Could it be budget or scheduling issues? I think it’s just storyline necessity that he’s not there. The big mystery is him not being there so he kind of can’t be there. Still I wonder how Iain feels about not being in the show for the last season. Although I’m willing to bet he has a big role in the last 2 eps so he’s probably fine

Given my history with series finals of shows, I'm guessing this one won't be any exception and will inevitably let me down in some way.
So long as Simmons, Daisy and May all survive...I'll be happy.
If Joss Whedon were running this show, I'd bet that Simmons, Fitz or both would die (because he just can't let couples in his shows be/stay happy). However, I'm hoping they won't go this now predictable route of killing one half of a couple a lot of viewers have become invested in. What would subvert the obvious? Letting Fitz & Simmons be HAPPY together!
I think Iain De Caestecker was busy fillming something else at the time this final season of AoS was being done, which is why he hasn't appeared. I imagine he'll be back for the end of it, though.

If that’s true it’s going to be wild when that becomes a big pay off to wonder what in the world they would have done if he was available. Also, what a weird season to suddenly not be available for.

Saw a reddit post that came up trending, which asked if Daisy's father will be back or not. I would like to see that happen but then theres the whole memory issue lol. We did see her mother again already though, so theres that
