This is Tom Holland's trilogy. My interest in ever seeing the MCU Spider-Man 3 just died. They've tainted their product.

They're doing this because Sony is demanding it as part of their deal to keep the Tom Holland Spider-Man in the MCU. Sony wants a live-action Spiderverse movie for their own franchise. Marvel Studios is basically making a deal with the devil here. Holland's previous outing made them over a billion dollars. The idea that Feige doesn't have faith in his ability to lead his Spider-Man films is preposterous at best.

Shouldn't we wait until we get more info before hitting the panic button?

But as far as this thing with Molina goes, shouldn't we wait until at least we get footage before hitting the panic button?

Shoving in multiverse crap where it doesn't belong will only damage the movie. We've never had a movie where Spider-Man is officially an outlaw before! That alone is new and exciting, but they're going to take away from that potentially interesting plotline so Sony can forcefully rivet their shit onto the MCU.

Im more and more inclined to stick to my perfect 23 movie MCU Infinity Saga. What they seem to be doing right now is taking a path Im not comfortable of following.
Guys, Im very worried about the MCU. Maybe we should let it die.

It's just that this wrecking what could have been a kickass third Spider-Man movie. Again.

I am totally cool with actors coming back for new versions of those characters. I love Molina and Fox.
What I’m realizing by more and more is that I have no interest in attaching the past franchises to the MCU. The only way I can get through that idea is just pretending they're original alternate realities, because I’d actually be excited about that. Nothing about it being the Raimi or Amazing series specifically excites me at all. I’d rather it just be brand new alt realities if they want to do a Spiderverse so I’ll accept it on that level only.

R.I.P. Flashpoint. Spiderman 3 will own it. And that, my friends, is irony.
